Built up piece by piece, Agonisingly slow, One brick at a time, Our wall ascends, we grow, Walls however are often weak in places, As loose and vulnerable as sand, Seeping away until we feel stable, Moments away from breaking asunder, But there are other parts of our wall, Parts which do not shed or wilt, Do not crack or lean with the tempestuous winds, Those parts are as hard as iron, Our resolve holds upon this strength! It grows leaves by leaves, With Nature's forbearing and tranquil flow, One leaf at a time, And so the memories are spawn, As the life moves forth and branches evolve, Few folioles might be dangling loose at times, Like swinging and swaying fate's chimes, Ready to be blown away by the storms, But the unrivaled strength of the sturdy tree called us, Stands determined in the uproars of life, Resolute like a rock, Our will is governed by this tenacity!
