Distance Vs Love

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Distances be of miles, Or separation be of a hundred seas, All we need is the love filled smiles, And our inner-self would be at ease; Thou know the pain of seeking, So do I, The sought is to be kept from wrings, And from the sorrows' prying eyes; Dilemma stands no chance, Perplexities meant to be omitted, When two souls dance together in love trance, With joys, the ardor's delights must be greeted; What are distances? Some extended lengths and breadths! And what is love? It is two bodies, one soul and rhythmic breaths.............

Iris Of My Sea

Image
(c) Shilpa Sandesh A story I am, Written in you, Your destiny I am, With a love that's true, This wide blue spread, Ahead of me, Is You, an enormous eye, An eye that sees all, knows all, Which fathoms my rise and fall, Like the moon and the celestial orbs, These waters stand as my holy book, "Oh the immense enchanting blue, My destiny awaits its impending due, For ages this soul has fluttered helplessly, Taking the fate's blows endlessly, But I see now my rising Sun, It's rays soothing the fate's burns, I would stand here forevermore, My feet glued to the seraphic shore, Let me hold the sight of thee, As I repose, as the Iris of my sea".

Along My Side

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Walking on the sand, Leaving behind the footprints, I pray, "Don't get washed away, For I await to see his foot prints, Along mine, And I shall find you, Here by my side.... "

And Thus I Shall be at Peace

(c) Shilpa Sandesh A weakness so beauteous, That a blessed can only get, A charm, an enchantment, And my soul, Would merry be, "let the earth, Bloom with glee, Into a witch I must turn, Mantras I would chant, Spells I would cast, And mine forever, My Wizard shall be " And then at peace, My innerself would be....

Another Poesy For You

(c) Shilpa Sandesh We need no words, Material can't enslave us, Expressions are all, That we belong to, For our verses speak for us, I remember, When we first met, Poetry and magic, And so it is, My another poesy, For you....

Till Eternity, I Shall be Yours

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Faith, my beloved, Is all our ethereal bond, Pleads for, Faith, my beloved, Is all that the miles, Crave for; The glitters and glints, Have been there ever since, But none has the power, To claim my senses, Ages are bygone, Ages would pass, My love and devotion, Remain unchanged ; I have left, And would leave, All that's fake, Or hinders our path, You claimed me births ago, And till eternity, I shall be yours........

In Spirits, In Love

(c) Shilpa Sandesh I stepped on a piece of heaven today, The blissful blue shores, I sought your glimpse, In the dimming rays, Waves after waves, Made love with the Sands, But what was that shrill! Oh and I realized, It was the scream of your soul, Being one with my soul's, The pain of missing danced all over, While our distances rejoiced, We stepped further close to each other, In spirits, In love.....

Sealed

(c) Shilpa Sandesh In the envelope of destiny, With a delight's abundant abyss, Is sealed a beauteous bliss; Like the corals, the raptures of the sea, Bathed in ardor's unique euphoria, Are sealed a thousand kisses; In your chest, resides my soul, With the meaning of my being, Is sealed my whole self; In my verses, With the scattered words, Are sealed my dreams of you, My innumerable wishes..........

Swept Away By Love

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Neither by the waves, Nor by the winds, Nor by the Tides, Or the substantial glints, She got swept away, By love....

Together in Throes

(c) Shilpa Sandesh The enchantment of love, Dwells not only in sweet talks, Or the long delightful walks, It nests, In the sufferings and dolor, Which spreads the anguished colors, Only to strengthen the bond, While even in the throes, The two souls, smile together....

Imperfections and Love

(c) Shilpa Sandesh They spoke and laughed, Living the moments life gave them, Like the dew drops on the morning grass, Their giggles embellish, The momentary togetherness; " Mine, I have some imperfections, Unseen and yet to be known to you, But afraid I am, learning those maculations, Like all good, you would leave me too" She says, "My love is not a slave, to any fraility or excellence, Imperfections are mere adornments, On a string of too much of perfections, You are the most precious gem I have, My soul is in your soul's obedience"

As the Dusk Falls Again

(c) Shilpa Sandesh And the dusk falls again, Bearing the dark clouds, Ready to pour down the impassioned rain; Reposing by the window, Sighs she, counting the nights and days, Striving to advance the clock ticking slow; Moon be the only solace, For her luck is seas apart, And the destiny has a mired pace; Strong are the peripherals of perseverance, Constituting a delightful wait, Soon they shall savour, the sweet fruit of forbearance; The setting sun marks, That she is a step closer, And they would step in the ardor's transcendental arc; The impatient heart and patient mind's brawl, So the musing deepens,  As the dusk falls again....

What We Want in Love...........

(c) Shilpa Sandesh A celibate heart, A beaming smile, Truth in his eyes, The sole reprise, When this heart cries, Where the transparency rules, The togetherness for infinite miles, When the missing kills, And every solitary second, Repose like a year, That is, What every woman wants, What every man wishes for, in love And so my beloved, You are mine, And forever, I am yours................

Frozen in Love

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Like the rays of the morning Sun, Crashing through the atmosphere, To enlighten the Elysian sky, You, my beloved, Steadily made your way, Into my barren life, It is just a material fact, That our meeting, Is the current birth's act, But the destiny of the souls, Is written not just for a birth, But all, Days and years and births, I was frozen in your love, And it is the flames of your touch, That shall melt me at last............

The Holy Traipse

(c) Shilpa Sandesh And this shall be the aisle, In the white frills she would walk, At the altar he would wait, With his right arm spread, to hold hers, Gazing the beauty from heaven, Traipse, Reaching the tabernacle of clouds, Penning with her steps, Their eternal love lore................

A Sip of Wine or My First Kiss?

A tingle of zeal's delight, Lingers on my tongue, And my senses rise to fervor's height, Into the colours of purple Tyrian, A tannin sourness,  And the melliferous hint of your breaths, The berries' saccharine sweetness, Lifting my soul, from the material depths, Your flavours capture my pneuma, Snatching me from my existence, My conscious drowns in the dilemma, And the desires lose their perseverance, Is it my first sip of the wine, Or is it my first kiss?                           ~S.S ~

Love in the Wildflowers

Image
Beneath the spring nights, Guarded by the angels and the stars, Lets make love, Hidden in the fields, Of the majestic wildflowers; Unseen from the world, Cloaked in the wooded night, Disguised, As the God and Goddess of the twilight, Lets be one, Where to the tunes of the wind, Dance, the glorious wildflowers; My hands in yours, Writing a resplendent love lore, Fingers entwined, Lets be nestled in each others embrace, Near the Eden's shores, Sequestered in the moorland, Of the charming wildflowers............                        ~ S.S ~

My Love

(c) Shilpa Sandesh I am flying high in love, Gliding as fast as my wings could flutter, Striding with all the haste I could, Riding on the waves, I am, My love, Coming to you.... Be not in any dilemma, I plead doubt me not my soul, For there then would be a storm, And swells would be so high, I won't be able to walk, And I won't be able to fly, I want to reach you, My love....

And So I Pen My Verse............

(c) Shilpa Sandesh I giveth pain, Pain I shalt bear, I giveth sorrow, Sorrow I shalt get, I liveth seeking, Thy love. Thy trust, Broken canst be it, For it hast not a coarse crust, Thou recieveth hurt, I recieveth pain, I be the one, Who shalt recieveth both, I craveth for thy smile, Thou shalt be my magic, Thou be my words, Thou be my voice, And so I pen my verse...................

I Am Your Swan

(c) Shilpa Sandesh My companion for life, As you marked your presence, In my barren existence, My being changed, What was this long futile, Now became worthwhile, Never for an instant can I live, Without your words, Without your verse, Without the magic you infuse, In all that I pen for you; Our bond, It is like a swan's love, You, my Wiz, Are my definition, I am your swan, You be the only love I have, The only I had, The only I would have, A tear of yours, And my heart would break, And I shall pass....come back to me!

Song - I Seek Forgiveness

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Oh mine, Last night, We took a wrong flight, I wept for you, Wanted to hold you tight, But you refused to forgive, And stood out of my sight, Oh love, you're a part of me, I crave to walk with you, Day and night, So forgive me........please Oh mine, You're my soul's delight, My heart resides in you, I can feel your pain, But don't be sad no more, For I will row our boat, Back to our fervor's shore, Oh love, you're a part of me, I yearn to be at your side, Day and night, So forgive me........please And my heart's it's crying loud, Do you hear the howling soul, I can't see you like this, And it pains to be the one, The one who be the reason, For your sorrow........ Oh mine, You're the sweetest nectar, I am yours, So forgive me.......please

Tonight....

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Tonight, I looked into the mirror, Mirror I detest the most, The more I fear, more it whispers, And I stood aghast, I am the ugliest of the ugly souls, For I am an accused, Convicted by this night, For having troubled a gem, My gem, Tonight, I spoke to the spirits, "Cometh o wicked spirits, Feast on my bones and flesh, Drink my blood, Strangle my breaths, I serve myself to you all, But spare my beloved, No tear shalt drop, From those divine eyes, No pain shalt pierce, His seraphic heart, Dig into my chest, A thousand daggers, Let me bleed, Let me.... " Close your eyes will you, Oh mine, I love you truly, These are not just the words, Trust me my beloved, Yours I am till eternity, Yours I have always been, Let the demons punish me, If for your sorrows, Ever I reason be........

Awaiting...... Night 01

(c) Shilpa Sandesh First night, Without thy words, There shalt be no sleep, I would be the cactus, Awaiting for the rain, That be you.... ..

Pleading....

(c) Shilpa Sandesh It's hard to hear, When you say I am, Not trustworthy anymore, My body trembles, I may not live to say, "Please don't go away!"....

Self Imprisonment

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Tears, Welling up in the eyes, Refusing to spill, The voice so heavy, Like a burden on the throat, Let her imprison herself, And till the end, She shalt rot....

Apologies

(c) Shilpa Sandesh A fish, It has been doomed, By it's own wrong strides, And then it swooned, In the fate's outrageous tides, To seek apologies, Have been like taking breaths, Washed away were its ideologies, To be in water it dreads, Devoid of its fins, It has no choice, Neither can it swim, Nor can it cry with a howling voice, To be in blue, Or to stay on the land, It wonders what's true, Or is it its pride's end, May be it would live, If it bends on its knees, And before it takes the last dive, It would ask for apologies............

The Dragonfly........

(c) Shilpa Sandesh I am not superhuman, Neither am I deific, But for ye, my love, I have the power of flight, To escape the fiercest blows, As I leap from seas to seas, To reach thy Heavenly shores; We are connected, I see the truth, thou hast known too, 'Ts the love, of thee and I, I see the fairy fly, In the evenings of warm summers, The magical wings refract, The ambrosial Sun's light, The sheen spreads enclosing me, In a spectacular chimerical sight; Wings, Wings, I have wings, Oh, and I can fly, To fall in love with you, Was to be reborn, I will nurture the delightful dreams, In the ocean's depths as a nymph, And I shall take to the air, When with me, ye shalt be closer; Sigh, I gather all the transcendental sway, And rise up, My phase of celestial metamorphosis, Fluttering my newly owned wings, In thy garden, On that rose, I shall stay, And there thou shalt come, To hold me in your palms, For 'ts thy touch, That would chan

His Dejected Soul

(c) Shilpa Sandesh And he's dejected, But she knows not why, His soul is in her embedded, And so her heart's too shrieking high, She would cure his saddened self, And so she pleads, "Oh mine, mine forever, To thee I belong forever, Shine upon me, With your cherubic smile, Or I would be lifeless, In this journey of miles, Tell me oh mine, What I ought to do, For not being able to relieve your sorrow, Is my biggest crime, So let me punish, The reason of it all, Without your happiness, I am nothing, Nothing I am........... "

When the Night Meets The Day

Image
You be the God of the Dusk, I, the Goddess of the Dawn, Feasting on the stars and the rays, Blessed by the Sun and the Moon, Afloat in the ethereal spheres, Adorned in the celestial robes, And so shall we meet, As we brush past, When the Night transforms into the Day......... (c) S.S

I am Blessed, I am Yours

(c) Shilpa Sandesh You are the air I breathe, You are the beats of this heart, You are the lyrics of my songs, You are the expressions in my Odes, You are my muse, You are the seven colours of the rainbow, And because you love me, I am blessed, And I am yours..........

An Endless Strife...........

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Sweet are the existences, the spiritual and the human, The creator sculpts a frame out of sand, This life and the glitters around are mere illusion, At the end, all have to travel to a mystic land, Sorrows are but the fundamentals of happiness, For none wouldeth fathom it's true allusion, As 'ts the drops of misery that harness, The truest sweetness of the agony's and joy's fusion, To liveth 's to paint the wishes and hopes, Onto the canvas of benevolence and love, But as the woes and tribulations crop, The faith flies away like a nomadic dove, 'Ts and 't wouldeth be the actuality of life, Mind and heart, wouldeth be forever, in an endless strife....

To My Zeal........

(c) Shilpa Sandesh He hath strolled forth into the woods of dreams, Some smiles were a delight, But nightmarish were those screams, She shalt connect, 'twas her mulishness, 'T hath been a seeking, in the sardine thickets, With tears welling, she began her search, "Oh mine, where be thou, You left me stranded, in the material glow", Her every tear, sent a message of missing, Her heart suffered, a zillion stings, "Say one word, my dearest, Came I seeking, but lost I am, in these visionary forests" And she stumbles upon a sleeping frame, "Oh what relief! 'Ts my beloved, dreaming still...."

All of This....Just for Me

(c) Shilpa Sandesh The most benign form of existence in Nature, Is to convey to Humanity, The divinity in nature's and colours' fervor, And so was created by the Almighty, The immortal colours in Rainbow, And when I consume each colour, With my expressionless eyes, I see none, But you, Like the God's most magnificent creation, Striding forth, with the steps of zeal, Across the embers in the rays of the Sun, Crossing the oceans of immeasurable depths, All of this, just for me....

An Epitome Of My Love

(c) Shilpa Sandesh What are you for me? What does your existence means to me? Why is every string of my breath, tied to yours? Well, my beloved, You are for me, A pristine essence, That magically binds the colours of my verses, With, The elements of Nature; In your eyes I see the black storms of ardor, Beautifying the twilight, My verses enveloped, in a starry night; In your smile I see the purest white gleam, Unspoken confessions, My verses sheathed in divine glitters; In your words, I see the whole blue sky, A thousand blessings, My verses wear your eternal glaze; In your laughs, I see the green tumultuous seas, Drenching me in it's perennial zeal, My verses bathing in the incessant swells; And this be my epitome, Of my love for you, And your pristine being for me.........

Endless Confessions

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Mine.... Do you know, Which is my most heavenly moment? When the air is filled, With our laughter, A laughter on sweet nothings; Those dual meaning dialogues! Oh, those, Such a heap of delight, When all that I wish, Is to bug you and tease you, And that is when you are panicked, The obvious reasons of which, Are known to you!  I saw you yesterday, A chequered shirt, Dashing I must say! I am sure you are smiling your heart out, But this soul, all it wants to, Is to flatter you aloud; My life is like a story, Penned out of imaginations, Where I am the writer, Who imagines and assumes, A divine existence, And being with you, Are you reading this my Wizard? Because if you are, You would know, My endless confessions, And what t's to be mad in love!

Wishes.......

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Like the smiles, Like the sorrows, Like the life's journey of miles, Where no one can fathom tomorrows; Wishes are the catalysts of joys; Not just I, but all have lived, Their share of miserable moments, But some refuse to crib, And rather infuse the dreams' atonement; Wishes become the impetus of jubilance; Years have bygone, Years would come, Some would be forlorn, Some delightful, like the beaming Sun; I wish for plentiousness in success, I wish for bountiful joys, Where happiness knows every soul's address, And bliss, in every heart shall poise; And as for me: I wish to see him, Every night in my dreams, To be his reasons to rejoice, when happiness goes dim, And to enlighten his life with my endless love's sheen.........

Fragments Of My Dreams

(c) Shilpa Sandesh A white sheet of paper I am, Write your verse on me, A canvas unpainted, Colour me in red and blue and hues, I am the clay, Be my sculptor, Mold me in the most alluring shape, I am the flute, Let your lips play, The most magnificent tune, The tune of Divinity in Love, And while you consume, These Fragments of my dreams, Let me envision some more moments, Of our togetherness' gleam.....

My Foresight..........

Image
Moments, Days, Years and decades, Who knows how much has been lived, Or how much is yet to be, But truth lies still, That realisation and foreboding, Steps in a conscious that's tranquil; And so my premonitions come to life; I seek no fame, But to be lost in his tears and his smiles, I accept no blame, But a resolution to walk with him, for miles; My soul is clear like a crystal, Emitting the seven colours, Even beneath the fate so miserable, My foresightedness never goes blur; Material is not all that it takes, To nurture a long sought love, But it is the faith That makes it capable to rise above; Be not sad, Let not the soul loose its calm, Imagine us in the lands snow-clad, When I shall be in your arms; And this be the picture, Of our cherubic path, Togetherness in spirits in the lap of Nature, Forgetting our destiny's wrath............. (c) S.S

A Chapter Of A Legendary Lore

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Winter breeze I welcome thee, Fantasies on a frolicking spree, Wilderness of the passionate souls, And the solitude's inconsolable sighs, The desires soaring unfathomable highs, You are like a Greek God, Who emerges from the Myths, Once in a blue moon, Leaving the hearts in delightful croons, But choosing only the one, The one, That benign soul, Which shall be blessed, With your divine touch, Oh but autumn's here, I be the tree shedding its material sheath, Preparing to be covered, In your cherubic gleam, And soon we shalt be the history, A chapter of a legendary lore.........

My Soul's Call...........

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Of the witches and the crystals, The fairies and the wands, To the powers and endowments, The inner self is bound, All thing's spiritual, Spiritual forms all, Joviality shalt rise, And the doom shalt fall, What lies above, Lies beneath, The love I carry for thou, Shalt be enduring and immortal, For t's, My Soul's call.........

Only If, You Are With Me

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Whether the alluring lands of Camelot, Surrounded by forests, Adorned by rivers; Or The beautiful Eden, Compassed with fruit sheathed trees, Riding the lions and tigers; Or The shimmering El Dorado, Like a Holy Grail, From which flows the gold; Or The Gorgeous valleys of Shangri-La, Writing the Nature's Odes, As immortal as the lives itself; My Beloved Wizard, A place would be this beauteous, Ceaseless would be the enchantments, Only, If You are with me.................

Entrapped In The Crystal

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Circumambient with Dedodars, Pines and Chinars, Satiating my thirst, For a magical sight, Breaking all bounds, Of enchantment and lure, The snow clad mounts, Your existence conquers all that is pure; A crystal, At a distant upland, Spreads its prominence, A mystic galore, Oh but what be these walls, Averting my progression, I can see nothing, Neither can I touch, And soon the realisation was such, I never stood where I thought I was, In the crystal, I was entrapped, Suddenly startled and aghast, Brooding over the past, I am waiting here, Ensnared, For you, To save me, From the clutches of the Unknown................

Paint Me As I Am

Image
(c) Shilpa Sandesh Neither with brush strokes, Of hatching or scumbling or the gazing, Nor with colours in oil or water, Paint me with your words, With your verses, And your Odes, Let pen be your brush, And lyrics be your colours, And thus, Adorn my being, Paint me as You see me, Or paint me as I am...............

My Soul's Reprise

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Capturing my giggles and grins, Adorning my heart with celestial gleam, Are your laughs, your smiles, And your transcendental beam; Are you born a human? Or are you an angel in disguise? Whatever it is, that you are, In you, My soul finds reprise...........

Will You Walk Along?

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Destiny's countless bends, And fate's furore, That refuses to end, Poisonous tongues, And harshest words, Leaving this soul fluttering, Like a wingless bird, On this rough road, She walks with torn shoes, Oh but these are, Not as tattered as her ruptured soul, Aching, tearful but tearless, Peace is like a mythical lore, In this decaying life of hers, Will you walk along, till the very end ?

Living The Instant Yet To Be Lived

Image
(c) Shilpa Sandesh Attired in satin flares, Reposing, Beneath the sparkling stellar glare, Here, Here I am, Gazing at you,  While you stay consumed, In the stillness of the calm waters ahead, Should I or shouldn't I mark my presence? Oh, but I don't wish to startle you! You, lost in the twilight's wondrous essence, My heart chooses, To pen the majestic view, Into a sublime verse; Least did I realise, My steps were being counted, My breaths were being felt, Pondering you were, Not upon what lay ahead, But, my progressive steps, And alluring is the cognizance, That you were penning an Ode for me, Such was the charisma, Of that heavenly moment, When words made love, The lyrics played, Pens danced,  And engrossed in that poetic love, Miles apart we stayed, Living the instant, yet to be lived................

Sleepless Night

(c) Shilpa Sandesh It's a tranquil night, My sleep and pondering, Refuse to stay quiet, For they are, In a conclusion less fight ; Are we to stay in this material galore Are we to leave it some nearing day, Why not instead be locked up, Across the roads that are rough, Where fire and water breathe together, And two souls closer shall stay; You see me as a diamond, But flawless it is not, As no spirit on this earth, Is saved from the fate's wrath, Am I still wondering, Oh but I am not insane, I seem to be drenched, In the destiny's ridiculous rain, Where I have air, But I can't breathe, To satisfy my thirst, the water fails, I am free, yet tied are my limbs, And I cry, but the voice, It remains unheard ; It's but turning, Into an endless twilight, Save me will you, From this sleepless night!

The Sacred Art Of Wondering

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Awestruck or fascinated, Wondering, It isn't what the dictionaries have stated; It is a thing sacred, When one's inner self, At one point overshadows all, Or becomes as tiny as an elf, It is a state, A sacramental attitude, Soul's spiritual solitude, An impromptu crying spell, Like the body swaying unconscious, In a huge tempestuous swell; And there, In that hurricane, I see a life raft, And a messiah, Making His way smoothly, Like there is no gale, And in a blink of the eyes, All is at peace, Pastoral, Calm defeats the turbulent, And to live again, This heart turns fervent; The wondering leaps, Springs across the melancholy's heap, Much obliged I am, my Savior, That You appeared, Just when my thoughts, With sorrows were smeared, And so the reverence fails, And halts, Till the tranquility hails..........

The Rhythm Of The Night

Image
(c) Shilpa Sandesh My muse, I write my today's verse to you, For which I waited for the magical twilight, For it be the love's night's song, A song with it's lyrics, Which are born from the moonlight; A full moon, My frame that swoons, Encompassed by the fire, Bathed by the water, Being one with the earth, The soul making love with the sky, And blown away to you, by the wind, It has no rhyme, But a cadence that is divine, Feel as I feel, Flow as my soul flows, With all that forms the night, The darkness, The stillness, The unfathomable voices, The craving hearts, Dying while living, Energies rising, Souls in love reaching the seraphic highs; T's but the two verses, Two subconscious selves united, The rise and fall, Of the two instinctive noumenons, Meter of the hearts, T's my love, The rhythm of the night............

That Very Day

(c) Shilpa Sandesh A Countless steps, A Thousand miles, You're mountains and seas away, Two delightful smiles, Dream castles in the air, Oh but, It's just another day; The verses of fervor, Enchanting conversations, Imaginary walks and the pillow talks, Envisioning together those peachy moments, Oh but, It's just another day; And when we shall hear, The heavenly tunes, Of Ocarina and the Tanbur, The metal tines of Mbira, Or the melodious Gongs, My love, It would be that day, That very day...........................

The Magic Of Love's Ambrosial Sheen

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Strutting on the lanes, Breathing the fragrance, Of the trees bearing fruits, Fruits of veracity and falsehood of life,  And suddenly. A passerby says "Hi!", Least did I realize, That he was meant to be mine, You, my entangled destiny's reprise; Though the path remains unchanged, Perpetual and unvarying, But the journey did change, Because when two true hearts, Bound by divine commitment in love, Pledge to walk together, No path is impossible, No efforts are futile; In the storms and the rains, I shall be your shelter, While you be mine, For love isn't just about passion, Or laughs or happiness, But it is a walk, In the grim weathers, Upon the petrifying paths, A comforting and an appalling road, Made eternally mystical, With the everlasting magic, Of love's ambrosial sheen................

Our Kind of Love

(c) Shilpa Sandesh A farrago of instruments, Violins and light congos, Flutes striking the love notes, Faint hums of the mountain tribes, Sending me the sign, Your presence's vibes, A pull, An attraction of hearts, Two like hearts, Two like us, Because in love my beloved, In our kind of love, Unlike repel, And likes attract....

The Gardner

(c) Shilpa Sandesh She had been a dry leaf, Over the ages, A leaf so strong, That even the tempestuous winds couldn't break, She was there to wait, For that archangel, Who was destined to be her gardener; She's a blooming green leaf, Envy of the maples and the tulips, As she is touched by divinity, Nurtured by the rays of love, Caressed by the winds of Delight, She surrenders her life, Her whole self, To her savior, Her Gardner.........

You Are The One

(c) Shilpa Sandesh My Wizard, Do you know why You are the One? Because, You ignite my being, Fanning the flames to highest extremes, Before I utter a word, You know all that I wish to say, You are the one I contemplate, When my inner self whirls, Like a Sufi seeker, Your charm, that allure, Convinces the witch inside of me, To arise and cast, An irreversible spell on you, Since the moment I discovered, That my search ends in this life, My mind houses the echoes, Your name, Which are to stay forever, And therefore my beloved, You are the one.........

Take A Few Steps More

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Take a few steps more, My love, Snatch me, seize me, Abduct me from where I am, And I shall not complain, Make me your prey, Let my soul escape with yours; Take a few steps more, And you shall see me, Awaiting to devote myself, To the caresses of your fingers, To the tickle of your lips, To all that your heart urges for; Take a few steps more, lift your hand, and it shall touch mine, And the fingers would entwine, My breaths shall become the rain drops, Nestling into the sea of your breaths, Till the flood of passion, Breaks the dams of perseverance; Take a few steps more, Denude the treasure chest, Uncover, Unveil what has been sheathed, Concealed and salvaged for you, Unearth those secret allures; Take a few steps more, Endurance of the distances, Forbearance of the time, Are now beginning to swell up, With the impatience and heart's haste, Let this be, The universe's most beautiful love lore, Take a few steps more...

The Verse of Winning

(c) Shilpa Sandesh A road not taken, A path unsought, Neither did you measure it, Nor did I walked upon, Predestined was the route, That was meant to be taken ; The attempts to solo journeys, Have been failures, Because the success called, For the two of us to meet, And here we are, Upon the roughest of the rough roads, Riding in the wagon, Of perseverance and hardwork, To Traverse, The valleys of disappointments, Dare the rains of fates' darts, Climb the lofty mountains, Of our zenith, And soon we shall win, And the moment we would celebrate, By penning a verse, Two hands, one pen, entwined words, A poesy on the sands of time, Odes we would write, As we sit together in each others embrace, Sipping our morning tea....

The Palace of Delight

(c) Shilpa Sandesh I stood aghast, Looking through the measured past, And there I was, A false mask, A veil I wore, Through out the journey, Called worldly lore, Faces unreal, False expressions, Sigh, And the Heart cried; There stood the humblest, Most charming, The Godsent in the tempest, Who spread his wings, Lifting me from the material lows, Through the cotton clouds, And vibrant rainbows, Climbing together, The steps of the Palace of Delight, Where we shall be together, Through the days and nights....

Hallucinations Of A Love-struck Heart

(c) Shilpa Sandesh As if on an instant impulse, Eyes open wide, No signs of slumber, Or was there no sleep! I am still perplexed, The right palm felt the warmth, Warmth of an omnipresence, Stings in the heart, A thousand needles piquing, And then a tear emerges, And tears, never-ending, As if to fill the Nile; The prickles of needles, Are the daggers in my sweating frame, And the ascetic lover within me, Propels this body to rise, Above all that is perceptible to material eyes, In the orb, That is beyond the magnitude, Of the substantial souls, Tears flow like blood, As the Nile turns from blue to red; Eyes open, Were they shut! The predicament deepens, This form, this being,  It isn't living for the moment, As I am nothing, A torso of sand, Suspended in the immeasurable universe, Like the planets, stars or asteroids; I am choking in the material air, I breathe free in the heavenly sphere; Breaths touch my cheeks, Stunned, eyes open again, A

Meditation and the Heart

(c) Shilpa Sandesh To meditate is to be tranquil, Tranquility is to be silent, Silence promises peace, Peace invites joys, Joys are overshadowed by miseries, Miseries lead to meditate, But, What stays unattended, Are the tears of the heart, That laughs and smiles, But within stays, Like a stack of hay, Set on fire by the decaying time, Time that has so far, Kept me distant from him........

To My Beloved Wizard

(c) Shilpa Sandesh To my beloved Wizard, My love is immortal, Be it dawn, Or be it twilight, I shall love you, Beyond my might, My devotion, my soul, It isn't slave, To the darkness or the lights, To love you and to live you, Is now, My life's, my soul's, my heart's, Sole delight........

Imagine, Dream, Realize

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Imagine, The hills sheathed with orange and green, A sprawling field of white tulips, Peeping through the grasses and weeds, As we walk past the wooded trail, Feets cold with the dew drops, An old bricked cabin and the two lovers proceed, The dusk turning into the moonlit night, And the passion turning into fiery delight ; Dream, Of the contemplation, To live the sought fascination, As the two souls sleep miles apart, But there's no sleep, Just two impatient hearts, Trying to step into trance, To breathe together in those envisioned dreams ; Realize, That we are meant to be, We were destined to be, I for you, You for me, And so our paths collided, Like a meteor being one with the earth, This is to say my beloved, Or rather to plead, "Be not sad, As tears in thou divine eyes, Make me forget, What it is to smile, And a thy sorrowful heart, Makes me curse, These still to be traversed miles........ "

Tomorrow and Everyday

(c) Shilpa Sandesh My dearest seer, The day went past, Consuming me in thoughts of you, Imagining the divine moments with you, Do you know my beloved, Hearing your voice, Is my cure to every pain, Sound of your laugh, Erases all my sorrows, A glimpse of you, And my heart promises, A sleep made up of your dreams, I am you, You are me, We are us, Any one thing missing, And my smiles turn to glum, But not to worry my Wiz, Because I shall wait for it, Tomorrow and everyday.......

Karmas And Arcadia Of Elysian Fields

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Lives are lived, Acts performed, Assigned to be generous, Liberal and benevolent, A twist and the prologue of life, Turns malevolent and unkind; The above, Has been You and I, In our previous lives, As our deeds turned from bounteous to mean, So did the lines in our palms, As Karmas came into play; Our seeking has known no bounds, When we sought each other, But could never be found, It was the punishment, For our respective ostracism, Our unacceptable mulcts; But then was a shower of blessing, Few good feats, And we were born in this life, Sought and found, Fell in love, Deep and profound, expressions unbound, And here we repose, Seas apart, Gazing at each other, A utopia since ages, A call for patience, Perseverance and forbearance, Till we stroll hands in hands, In the Arcadia of Elysian fields........

Come December

(c) Shilpa Sandesh The games of time, The fate's mischievous allure, Sometimes bitter, At times honey-coated, My current moments, Are but a part, Of our Love lore; I walk, but I am still, I breathe, while I am dead, I see, with closed eyes, I dream, without any sleep; Caress of the words, Omitting the tears, Misty days and nights. Earnest hearts, Dreaming of all that would be, Earning each other's boundless love, Counting the days for togetherness Each heart promising oneness forever, Marriage of the two parted souls, Brought together by alliance of the destinies, End of the tumultuous hours of parting, Rolling onto the roads to Heaven, as we rest in each other's arms........

Silence

(c) Shilpa Sandesh I've heard, That silence speaks a thousand words, Words that a blabbermouth like me, Can't express, I have known the silence, But never known the silence in love; But now, I know, The silence, Those temporal tranquil moments, In Love, Are mercifully painful, Graciously difficult, Cordially inflamed, Tenderly caustic, Courteously severe, Mildly sore, Like burning alive................

Without You

(c) Shilpa Sandesh I see no stars, I see no moon, I hear no sound, There's just darkness encompassing me I hum the song, As I wait for my Wizard, As today he forgot, To cast his spell on me.........

The Night of Missing

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Silence is a bliss, But your silence is like a slow poison, The pebble sheathed walkway, Is easy to walk upon bare foot, But to stride on velvet roses, without you besides, Is like drowning in the deepest seas, To pen down the divinity in love, Is joyous, To pen down the pain, That my soul feels in your heart, Is painful, Ears are restless to hear from you, Eyes refuse to sleep, as they await your glimpse, And so my precious, You brought my pen to life, And so tonight, in this night of missing, My mind shall be awake, While my pen and words, Savour a cherubic fight.........

Insanely In Love With You....

(c) Shilpa Sandesh To be melancholic, Isn't by choice, Neither is it, by wish, T's but a road, The destiny's design, And mandatory to be followed; With you I am, In best of the spirits, Without you, dismal I am, So my being joyous or dejected, Is truly your endowment; I am sitting here, Looking across that path, For you went for a stride, And took my breaths along, Please return my soul, As I can't breathe anymore, Dewy eyes are now heavy, And my body's becoming numb; Night is cold, And colder I am, as blood's freezing, My mortal frame's turning blue, Return sooner my Seer, Or I shall soon be, A spirit, Insanely in love with you.......................

Smile........

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Divinity from afar, Never perceived or thought of, Merely the truest wish, An unanswered prayer of this heart; What was never contemplated, Has now become, The mind's only meditation, What was unfathomed, Has now turned into, The soul's sole desire ; And the two parted vines of destinies, Are finally intertwined, Do you know what that means my seer? Perhaps you still need to realise, If a thorn pricks you, I feel the pain, If your think of aching thoughts, Tumult rises in my mind, If you get an urge to cry, Tears emerge in my eyes; Such is the dwelling, Of my soul in you And of your soul in mine, So my beloved, Smile, If you really want me to smile.........

Moments Destined to be Forever

(c) Shilpa Sandesh In the material world, Of temporal glee, And countless glum, Where the right can't speak, And always stays mum; The silence of yours, And I keeping mum, Is not because we are weak, But because, It's not the want of being right, But a wish for peace ; Our struggles, my love, Go hand in hand, We might be standing, At the listener's end, But it's the time that shall answer, All our opponents, The fate, the time and the bunch, Of worldly minds, self-centred mortals; And as we always do my beloved, Hold my hand, Look into my eyes, They say that we are together, To win the moments, Which are destined to be forever........

Togetherness....

(c)Shilpa Sandesh I wonder, How a walk on the thorns, Turn into the most beautiful walk, When we are together; I am amazed, How the tears gifted by our respective fates, Taste so sweet, When we are together; Spellbound I am, How standing unsheathed in the winter chills, Become truly soothing, When we are together; And I am sure, The fate's black haze would clear, With our destinies embracing each other, When we would be together.......

I am........ You Are.........

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Dew drop I am, You are my leaf, Soil I am, You are my earth, Rain I am, You are my cloud, Rose I am, You are my fragrance, Touch I am, You are the shudders, Skin I am, You are the fire, Kiss I am, You are the desire, Eyes I am, You are the sight, Star I am, You are my light, Rays I am, You are the Sun, Sea I be, While you be my ocean, I await like the love's lost  book, Come and read me  My Wizard.......

The Prescription....

(c) Shilpa Sandesh My sweetest, I have been diagnosed, With a dreadful disorder, Topsiturviness in the core of my body, A part we call Heart, Oh what a pain, Did our destiny frame, I am sure you would laugh, When I would say, "Are you cold my love? Because I can't stop sneezing here! It is such a turmoil, Or rather a sweet dilemma, "Did you sprinkle some chili flakes, during the dinner, Oh because I too would sprinkle some, Even though there would be some steam, Emerging from my ears!" I am trying to sleep my beloved, But I guess you have murmur issues, While you sleep, Since I was murmuring too, Telepathy is it?" I am confused, Perplexed, Should I be patient, Or to you, now, I shall run! And it's dilemma again! And my prescription says, "A case of extreme devotion, seeking your love, Enchanted, suffering passion spells, Cure: A kiss from you, every five minutes, A hug from you, every two minutes, Your mesmerizing

Our Unsung Melodies......

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Walking on the grass, Embellished, By the winter morning's dew, I feel the tickles beneath my feet, Stepping forth past the greens, November's orange and golden sheen, I hear the faint notes, A flute, Melodiousness enhancing with every stride, Like rumination lifting my soul, Upon the divine highs, And there, Emerging from the seraphic haze, Midst the heaven's snowflakes, I see you, Like an angel, Sent by the almighty, For me, And a tear flows down my right eye, Like thanking you for being there, For having sought me, While I am still breathing, "Come forth, Personifying a cherubic medley, A fusion of conjurer and seraph, You are the One, The One I have awaited all along, I have sung an unpenned song, A song that I hum now, Welcoming my wizard for lives, It be a song with no lyrics, No music of it's own, But yet, It is the sweetest song, Because my archangel, It's notes arise from You and I, Where the to

All The Best My Wizard...........

(c) Shilpa Sandesh If tears can be taken, Fill my eyes with yours; If smiles can be given, I repose here, with all my smiles, And drench you in countless grins; If I could be a warrior, I would guard you from all the miseries; If a touch could carry all my strength, And all my tenacity into you, I would die the untimely death, And be the wandering spirit, And enter you body to endow, All my vigor into you; If my mortal frame, Could be your shelter, From the venomous arrows of the opponent, In your battles against the time, I would sheathe you and take the blows; If prayers are truly answered Today I shall ruminate, And to the Gods and Goddesses I would pray, Invoke the spirits of fortune, To carry all my luck to you, For tomorrow and all the moments to come, All the best my Wizard........

Stars on You And Me

(c) Shilpa Sandesh The shivery winter morning, As I reside curled up in the blanket, Pleasantly warm, I raise my hand to flip away, The hair strands which fall on my cheek, A mole on my arm grabs my sight, And I sigh, Where are you my beloved, Why so far, When this moment is meant, To be cuddled in each others arms, When you would say, "Let me see the constellations, Of all the black and brown stars, Which speak of delightful passion, Let me count all those wonders" To which then I would smile, A smile, I can't help but bite my lip, A smile which speaks, The language of my eyes, The language that your eyes alone can understand, And I then I would utter, " My sweetest, These stars are meant to be reckoned, Not with eyes, But with the lips, And meant to be tasted, Not with the raising heart beats alone, But with the moist tongue, So while you savour my beauty spots, Let me sapor yours" Good morning my beloved!

While Our Shadows Stroll Together

(c) Shilpa Sandesh My Wiz, Could you sleep last night? I couldn't, You haunted my thoughts, Ruled my perceptions, With eyes open or closed, All I see is you, Oh do you know, The greatest miracle, After we met? Our shadows, Our shadows got exchanged love, When I stand beneath the noon sun, It's your shadow that walks besides me, As mine stay alongside you, Awaiting the days and nights, When we shall walk hand in hand, While our shadows stroll together....

My Chateau de Zeal

(c) Shilpa Sandesh A fort of delight,  On the shore of the sea of Amour, Where I make the castles, In the sands of time, Where our smiles drizzle, And turn into the rains of passion, Drenching us with the droplets of thirst, The thirst fervor, desires, Sensualism redefined, aphrodisia with raptures, Your fingers entwined in mine, My heartbeats dancing with yours in rhythm, The rush of ardor, merciless flames, We burn together, You and I, Let's melt and be one, One in your embrace, Your arms, My Chateau de Zeal....

A Climb To Cherish........

(c) Shilpa Sandesh I've just begun, An utmost galling climb, The escalade upon the Mount Fervor, I see you from its foot, Standing tall on the vertex, Gazing into my eyes, I wonder, Is that the faith I see in your eyes, Or, A doubt? And then my inner self answers, "T's his belief Oh tumultuous heart, That you would reach that supreme height, If at all you stumble or fall, He would pull you, With his passion schlepp, Fear not, be not in dilemma, For his strength begins in thy faith, His vigour lies in thy certitude, T's but thou love for him, That keeps the pace enduring, And the determination unshaken" And I feel being heaved, My efforts doubled, As t's thou pull, my beloved, That would bring me to thee, And this climb would be, A climb to cherish........

Eyes........Ours

(c) Shilpa Sandesh My sweetest, Operose has been the travail, Which brought me to you, But elated has been my soul, While my inquest for thee, For thy divine eyes, Among numerous mendacious ones, But Oh my Seer, I feel my eyes are possessed, Enchanted by your magical eyes, As no matter I blink a thousand times, Or just once or twice, All my eyes see, Is myself in you, And You in me........

Fiery Ring Of Beatific Love

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Turmoils can be blissful too, A bunch of feelings creating a ruckus, Like a commotion of unheard voices, I wonder,  If it's in my mind or in my heart! Words would not suffice anymore, To pronounce the dithers within, I demand from the spirits, I pray to them, That surround me on this night, "Oh the spirits,  Remembered or forgotten, Malevolent or benevolent, As I close my eyes and ruminate, To pursue the astral path, Guide me to him, Who is mine, Who awaits me with a true heart, Or fetch him to me, Here, here in my arms, My craving arms, Bewitch him with my whispered spells, And let him stride closer to me!" As I go deeper in the spiritual woods, Strolling, following the fragrance of thy breaths, I raise my right palm, With all the ethereal strength within, To touch your left cheek, Did you feel the warmth of my palms love? Did you feel me closer? I am your lover, An enchantress I am, Who would pull you above, The ev

Echoes

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Echoes......... "Let me possess you, My beloved, Let me touch your fingers, Cold besides your diary, In which you're penning the verse " Echoes.......... " I wrote an ode to love, Love, ours, Thy fragrance, Of roses and jasmines, Rule my smitten self" Echoes.......... "My wicked lover, T's thy eyes, Glistening with poetry, T's thy neck, Which my lips crave for, Are you listening, My whispers, my sweetest heart? " And my lips move, To answer thou, Thy murmurs, Thy warm breaths caressing my ears, " My Wizard lover, I hear thou name around me, My eyes seek not anymore, For thy presence it is, Everywhere........ Oh mine, Do you hear the echoes?

I Swear By The Moon........

(c) Shilpa Sandesh I shall worship the Moon tonight, A celestial bliss, undying bright, As I would look, On that luminescent sight, A blink of the eyes, And there, you would rise, To see you tonight, Is my praying heart's delight, Where my soul's eyes would win, In the material and spiritual fight; Like at the festival of Delos, Chios fell for Acontius, And then was the beatific pledge, As Chios swore by the temple of Artemis, To be forever Acontius', So shall I swear by the Holy Moon, Till this earth stops to rotate, Till the seas are arid, Till the snow clad mountains thaw, Till the universe comes to an end, I shall be yours my Wizard, And when the creator would give birth, To a new world, We would be its Adam and Eve, And so shall our love, Be reborn, to be forever again..........

While You Read My Sprinkled Self

(c) Shilpa Sandesh A turmoil is rising, In this troubled heart, Yearning is beautiful, Craving is passionate, But this missing, Missing, which ought to be, The delights of love, Meant to be savoured, And it's far fetched fragrance, Meant to be absorbed, Before it's served, Oh but this moment, This cruel moment, Stands as my worst enemy, I miss you, I feel like a disabled, Devoid of her limbs, And my inner self crawls, Crawls endlessly and breathlessly, To reach you ; Love, My ears are restless to hear from you, My eyes would be sight less, If they don't read from you, I await here, My material eyes closed, As I see you approach and, Hold my hand, And pull me out, Of this chaotic world ; So is this missing my beloved, This terrible, merciless missing, Let me walk again, Bare foot on the wet grass, As my heart pens this void, While you read my sprinkled self....

You Are My Soul

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Your image in my eyes, Your divine reflection, Is such, That when people look at me, They search for me in vain, Because all they see in me, Is you........ My Wizard, Reside in me, my heart, my all, Forever till the endless times, For they say, A body doesn't exist without the soul,....

To Have You In My Life........

(c) Shilpa Sandesh To see you first thing, Is like seeing the bright morrow sky, To hear you as I wake up, Is like listening to my favourite song, To touch you on your cheeks, Is like touching the tender pearl, To kiss you on your lips, Is like drinking the dew drops from the leaves, To embrace you, Is like absorbing all the bliss that is, To have you in my life, Is like merging with the One Spirit........ Good morning love, Wake up!

Subliminal To The Supraliminal........

(c) Shilpa Sandesh A yen to touch, To embrace thy virility, T's not but just a whim, T's the ecstasy unbound, Of the soul's prurient face; When miles forfend, Those ardent battles of the bodies, Thy soul and mine, Defeat the wrath of time, Thy soul and mine, Reach the empyrean spheres, And therein, They float together, Upon the supernal air, And in the delightful sparks, They dwell and stay entwined; The spheres unexplored, By the mortal frames, Are our souls' abode, Where your soft and warm lips, Pen the sonnets of love, On my soul's naked self, Where every bygone moment, Is defined by our merging breaths, And two volcanoes erupting as one; And while our souls reside, In that divine orb of immortal delights, Our mortal minds cry, And wonder, Is this the living in death, Or dying while alive? So my soul's better half, Let's just stay afloat, In our subconsciousness, While our souls make love, In their consciousness,

Elixir Vitae Of The Maniac In Love Inside of Me

(c) Shilpa Sandesh My beloved, I wonder, When I see you, Why does my face looks, Like an emoticon with a raised brow? My heart feels the thumping, As if the Cupid's sitting there, And has just shot its arrow! I feel like I am the stage, For Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Or the Tempest, Or Cymbeline, Where it's just love, In full bloom! I look like an emoticon, With hearts in the eyes! Oh Cure me will you my dearest? Can we be together for twenty five hours, Instead of twenty four hours a day! Oh now you see, What you've done to me! Let me close my eyes, Give myself some rest, But, But there you are! And I dream the enactment, Of the poems of amour, Dickinson's 'Wild Nights', Wilde's 'We are made one with what we touch and see', Or Keats' 'Bright Star', I am sure you know by now, What a maniac in love, You have turned me into, Oh please note, You only, Are the elixir vitae, Cure me!

My First And Last........

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Saw you today, A crisp white shirt, A black suit, A charm so enticing, That even Eros might feel, Less of himself, I am smitten, Smitten by those eloquent eyes, Bewitched by that majestic persona, What are you? Some Greek God! Can someone be so irresistible? And my heart's wondering still; Am I a match really, For a captivating one that's you? I am blessed, Glorified that you chose Me, Above a zillion butterflies! I know you're smiling, As you read this, As I smile, While I pen this, Oh and my beloved, I guess I am the envy, Of a thousand hearts, But Oh, I am so enamored, By your divine allure, Be mine forever, My first and last........

Our Bewitchingly Mingled Dreams........

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Did you dream last night, my love? Because I slept without one! Is this the glory of it all, When it's not just the bodies, But in love are the souls? My miserable days, And your self-hatred were executed, By destiny's sword, The moment we discovered, That this is the life, We are destined to be one in; Do you know my dear, My births and lives so far, Have been a mere waste, Numerous desolate existences, The half of my this life, Has been as arid, As all the previous ones, But the God favoured a little pity, And so we met; Aah, and back to the dreams, In love two bodies dream together, But when souls love, They share the same dream, While I dream of you tonight, You would sleep a dreamless night, As you dream of me tomorrow, I would yearn and spend the twilight, In sighs, Confused? Well my beloved, Our souls are not two, They are one, So is the dream one, But our bodies are two, Yet to be one, And so while your vision

Incessant Touches and Immortal Love

(c) Shilpa Sandesh What do I do, When my heart feels dumb, Short of words, Or rather, When silence seems more appealing, Than the chaotic inner self, That screams and yells, Craving endlessly for your presence! It questions me, Weeps and asks your whereabouts, For which, I have just one answer everytime, "He's here, right here, See not from your material eyes, Borrow the eyes of my soul, As only then you would feel, His divine existence around you, A cloud of energy, Full with love and soul's yearning And then you shall know, It's not your soul alone, But the two restless flames, Longing together, For those incessant touches, And the immortal love..........

Crystal Heart....

(c) Shilpa Sandesh The moment You confessed, The moment I professed, Our love, I stepped into the palace, The palace named Crystal Heart, Your heart, Where forever, I shall reside......

When I am With You....

(c) Shilpa Sandesh I am, Like a free falling bird, From the peak of a mountain, Or a dew drop, That smoothly slips down, From the surface of a leaf, I am so, When I am with you; I am, The fieriest of the fiery flames, The most efflorescent of the blooming flowers, The strongest of the tornadoes, I am so, When I am with you; I am, Like a mermaid, That sings solitary, In the vast open seas, Awaiting her seeker, To bring her agonized soul at ease, I am so, When I am not with you; I am, Like a fish, Left by the fate, Out of the water, A fish that flips hither thither, I vain, so as to be able to breathe, Like a phoenix, Which spends its life, In search of you, futile, Then burns into the ashes, To be reborn, And search again, I am so, When I am not with you; So let me not be, That flower, Whose petals one plucks, One by one, To find being loved or not, My love, Let me not be, In the moments without you....

The Gravity Of Your Love

(c) Shilpa Sandesh My beloved, Remember those golden lakes, In which we used to sail, In the boat of our dreams, Rowing across the orchards, Where the trees bore glittering gems, You were a knight, A princess I was, And the first time I saw you, I felt all yours, I fell in love with you; My love, Remember that enchanted twilight, When the invisible particles, In the celestial sphere collided, As it was the moment, Of our souls' rendezvous, And when I first read from you, I felt all yours, I fell in love with you;  My sweet, Dream that blessed moment, That would be, Our beings' gratification, Because then, I would look into your eyes, And fall for you again; This is no momentary love, No evanescent affection, But my life, It is what my soul feels, It's the gravity of your love........

Our Voices....

Image
(c) Shilpa Sandesh I am sloshed, Inebiriated and laced, In the saline froth, Drunken with your thoughts, Besotted by the sound, Of your majestic voice; I see those golden and orange rays, Of the setting sun, Like beauteous fire strings, Dancing to the blazed beats, Of my flaming heart, A heart that's on an impetuous stride, To be one with yours; My inner self, Listened to your impassioned voice, The voice, that's the bow, Which plays on the strings, Of my heart, it's inflamed violin; Can you hear the song love? May be, a murmur! Or a whisper? Those are my breaths, Brewed with the sound of my voice, That is my song, Which I filled up the setting sun's rays with, So that they sheathe you, The whole of you, With the morning glow, As they rise tomorrow, In your hemisphere; I wonder, How else do I say, I miss you! Or Should I just say I miss you?
