The Falling Maples- Living Unconditionally- Poetry by S.S

 Upon the earth that blossoms, and through the sun that incessantly smiles, In the blithely flowing river streams, and in the clandestine magic, in the flourishing wild, I look into the fractured mirror, and I see a lost child, In the dusk, stepping inside the gates of the night, and in the stars that reign, the sullen skies, Through the radiance of the effulgent moon, and in the secrets, that the humming forests hide, I look into the ripples of the still water, and I see a lost child, But with every dawn, my wings emerge, blessed I am, with an ephemeral respite, And as I soar to the highest highs, the wings disappear, and I fall into a delusionary wide, Only to find,  the mirror, the still water, and the lost child.......

  The universe is brimming, with existences so cunning, that within their caged persistence, They shower inane judgements, From their self-woven baggage, of self-absorption and false prepossessions, They often fall flat, 'neath their silly assumptions, And the dam breaks when they theorize, that every word that I write, and the emotions I enscribe, are meant for their dim stars and sullen skies, Oh but to hell with such arrogant surmise! My lyrics are for none, My lyrics are for the hearts,  in starry-eyed devotion,  Some romantic and some random scribbles,  are just poems laid bare, Your beliefs and suspicions, aren't for me to care.......
