Oh Onyx, I Envy You

Image
Oh beauteous Onyx, How I envy your destiny, Elegantly, you adorn him, Joyously studded in that silver ring, Each day, each night, While here, my thoughts are entangled, With my soul, in a ferocious fight, You proudly smile,  And I can see you bedazzled, By his delightful allure, Oh comely Onyx, How I malice the moments, The countless moments, You spend with him, Oh bewitching Onyx, From the deepest depths of my yearning heart, I envy you.... Soul and Him

Image
Drizzle of a saccharine bliss, Such a melodious flute, Merging with the seven wondrous strings, Of the magnificent Guqin, And the soul boards, the spiritual boat, A golden silence sheathes my being's quintessence, Oh that marvelous hum of the harp, Is that the One Beauty? The meeting of the soul in Him, Or the departing of the soul for Him.... (c) (S.S)

Distinct Love

Image
She is silent towards the world, But speaks with her beloved, He is mum towards her, But addresses the whole world Distinct fashion of devotion in Love, She wishes she could hear him too.... . (c) (S.S)

One Truth

Image
Rains from the cloud. descend upon the earth, Merge into the soil, the rivers, the seas and the oceans, But evaporates to fuse with the cloud,  So is my pneuma, and so is yours, Which was sent upon this material sphere, Through the downpour of the countless souls, coalescing with the good, the bad, the acceptable and the unacceptable, But, Oh dear bearers of the innocent souls, Forget not the One Truth, That you would return to the One Spirit, The cloud, of which you are the rain........ Faith

Image
Our dedication in love, my beloved, Compels me to believe in our fervor's certitude, After all, It is but, the Almighty's way of evaluating our being, He analyses, In joys, our realization of His presence, And in sorrows, the extent of our faith in Him, And my faith in the togetherness, Of the day and the night  Shall remain firm forevermore.... My Wedded Soul

Image
That night,  I forgot my way back home, Only to realize, That it was never my real home, My true abode, Is where my beloved resides,  Wedded to my soul, Which shall soon comprise, my body.... (c) (S.S)

You're the One, Closest to Me

Image
Beloved, Did you say something? Because my silence spoke to me, And I heard you, without listening to you, You're the one, closest to me, Precious, Did you cry? Because tears keep welling in my eyes, And your semblance orbits around me, You compose my heart, more than the heart beats, Oh cherished, Did you dream of me? Because consciousness refuses to rest, And I remain restlessly sleepless, You are all I breathe, more than the air around me, Oh beloved, my precious, my cherished, Stride no farther from where I stand, Be with me, Stand as my strength, You're the one, closest to me.... Oh Messiah

Image
Oh Messiah, Teach me the art of compassion, Raise me above, my capacity of devotion, For what lies ahead of me, Is overflowing with worldly decrees, Oh Prince of Peace, Usher upon me, your blessing in disguise, The one soul, righteous and wise, Let my destiny fuse with my beloved's, The one for whom, my fluttering self has craved, Oh Good Shepherd, I desire not the earthly love, But a dedication, that exceeds the seven skies and above, Give me the will to be silent, Even if my yearning grows fervent, Oh Son of the God, That soul welcomes the setting Sun, Towards that wonder, I restlessly run, Grant these two souls, the gift of perseverance, But let it not be, governed by silence........ (c) (S.S)

Wondering

Wondering quizzically, My guardian angel, Whose voice is it, that inspires you? So much that my eyes can't stop to caress, that lovely inspiration, Do you know, it's been ages, since I was blessed with your voice, Spanish, Arabic, Hebrew, or be it the language of fervor, I am devoid of that bliss, and I feel barren and sterile, Oh but I shall not complain, Nor shall I disdain, I shall tell my heart, To stop pitying my soul, But, How do I do so? My heart resides in you, Please, my beloved life, Convey so to my stubborn heart, I have strode upon this path, Not to look back! But to walk forth, until my soul immerses in yours, Beloved for life, Be not in dilemma, Oh and I must say, I have loved you since the first star was born, To love you until the last........ The Loving Souls

Image
For a heart that loves unconditionally, A soul that loves back completely, The almighty has it all laid, Like a true love lore, meant to be played, It be Your humble order, my Lord, Or else, two roads wouldn't have crossed, But, dear God, my road ends here, Life's intersection, my sire awaits there, I have bathed enough in tears, my creator, A drop of what my heart desires, please usher, Lend me those humble eyes and blissful smile, That shall walk along until endless miles.... Prayer for You and I

Image
My beloved Lord, Upon this material sphere,  Where uprightness looms nowhere, Here, the definition of virtuosity is lost, And for every unfeigned heart, sorrows play the host, Allow me with your blessed grace, To stand enduringly, Firmly, To carry forth my truthful soul, To my beloved for until afterlife, You, Who caresses these soulfelt prayers, From shores, where the Sun sets, Know, That you are this soul's rightful owner.... Rumi

Image
I wish to fathom that yearning, Rumi, That sacred thirst of the One Spirit, How did you bereave yourself Rumi, Of the mortal pain and the fervid outbursts? I desire to discern Oh Rumi, What separates soul from its form, This wound is beyond endurance, Rumi, How do I rise from the storms of earthly forlorn? I repose incomplete and solo, Rumi, Teach me to elevate my pneuma to its zenith, I would be blessed with peace, Oh Rumi, When the spirit rises above, leaving the world beneath........ (c) (S.S)

Agonized

Image
There are no limits of loving, no extent of expressions, But Oh, Could it be more aching to know, that everything is shadowed, Sheathed beneath the layer of a constant disbelief, True Love isn't just a phrase to a poet's eye, Because for each one of us who writes of love, Fathoms its truest intensity and deepest depths, But alas, What a stinging knowledge it is, to be confronted, With rejection, spurning and mistrust, Even stone suffers scars once hammered repeatedly, This is a mere heart, striked with continuous repudiation, Why would the ink splatter such hymns, Had it not been from the soul's unseen depths? And the dilemma erupts within, Between the heart and the soul, Where mind remains a mere audience, The heart wishes to show its discontent with a prolonged silence, But the soul, it bombards restlessly until it becomes impervious, For the heart to remain in the same form, without giving in to the soul, Such is the turmoil within me, Which I am

Restless Beyond Restlessness

Image
Beloved for life,  The definition of the Days and nights have altered in depth,  With no clouds of your semblance and no rains of your words, Fate already has been giving blows after blows, Amidst which, you emerged as a messiah, Oh, has the heart ached so much as today? Nay, I am restless beyond restlessness, I seek those dawns and dusk,  Where rising shall be by bathing in the rays of your eyes, And nights shall be by drowning in them.... Yours Forevermore.... Wake Up my Beloved

Look at you, the ever divine semblance created by Him, Those peacefully closed eyes, hold the most impassioned gaze, And the sealed lips, those lips, When they break the silence, I see the spring blossoming in winters, How blessed I am, to be desired by you, And how ill-fated I am, That at this very moment, what my mortal eyes yearn to see, Only my soul's eyes can cherish, Wake up beloved, Let my words caress your senses, Before you are kissed, by morrow's first Sun's ray.... (c)  (S.S)

In Your Love's Trance

Image
There's a sphere,  Hidden from this harrowed world, Sheltered strikingly, beneath a bewitching sky, Adorned with a moon of impassioned desires, Where every twinkle, of the glistening stars, Brings forth a flicker of your smile, And every cloud of vehemence, Drenches me, in a downpour of your enticing voice, Oh, how do I resist, my beloved, From falling in love with you? My devotion,  My solitude, My longing of you, my sire, Has left me enamored by you, every bygone moment, And my soul's endless craze, to be in your embrace, Leaves me enthralled by your charm, I fall in love with you, everyday, And until my inner-self finds reprise in yours, My mortal form shall swirl Under the reverie of your hypnotic love, And I shall devotedly dance, In your love's trance........ (c)  (S.S)

My Beloved Soul

Image
My beloved soul, I asked myself, How do I thank you, For the divinity that you have showered upon me? And my heart continues to say, "Love him truly, until eternity And blessed you shall be, For living without him, Is burning, not living".... (c) (S.S)

The Flame

Image
The cimmerian twilight falls, With envious desires, The lucid dawn rises, With the divinity called your name, Desolate hours pass, in your rumination, And forsaken moments are lost, In the endless tears of anticipation, This earthly flame shall burn, Until that blessed dusk, When it shall be dimmed, By the radiant flame of your love.... The Three Pearls

Image
Like a dying star, the pieces of which lay scattered, And afloat, in the sky, Solitary in the silence, that pierces the soul, Entering my chest like a zillion shards of broken glass, I am afloat too, Without my beloved soul, Conversing with me, my mortal form, The fire of life within me, is dimming, Save me, my Guardian Angel, Only your voice, Your truest confession, And yours soul's words can retrieve my being, These are the three pearls, my beloved, Without these, I am breaking, Save me, I am pleading for my life from you, I am pleading for you from you.... (c)  (S.S)

Carry Me Home

Image
Amidst the social viciousness, And chaos of a heart-wrenching silence, I lay twisted and scarred, You pronounced me your beloved dove, You, my beloved, my sole purpose of existence, Come hither, And in the presence of the sacred fire, The fire of our ever loving and ever truthful souls, Claim me as yours, I do not belong to the rising Sun, Come hither, And carry me home.... (c) (S.S)

Don't Ever Doubt

"Don't ever doubt, my beloved, My sacred desire to see you, For I will walk through the oceans, To be with you, Don't ever doubt, my precious, My sole wish to complete you, For I shall fly across the seven skies, To be with you, Don't ever doubt, my beloved, My goal to be yours, For I shall overcome the toughest bounds, To give myself to you.... " (c)  (S. S)

Alone....On The Frozen River....

Image
And while I walk bare-foot, on a widespread frozen river, of life, My pace slows down, I glanced one more time, at your words, Wait, you will, you said, Wait you must, thought I, "My best expressions come out of you, my muse" Oh how it echoes inside of me, my precious, Virtuosity and righteousness compose you delicately,  Where your humane deeds speak of your rectitude, Among all the fairness and goodness, my beloved soul, let the softness be, the compassion, The expressions which are perhaps, still existing inside of you, For me, And while I am lost in this pondering, I see my blue feet, It's all white around me, and I see your eyes everywhere, And inside, a darkness looms, consuming me like fire, My rising hollowness has but only one cure,  The sole cure, my heart's desire and my soul's beseeching, The quiet sky above, my beloved, is the quietude of my heart, I breathe alone, scattered, and rambling and strewed, I converse infront of t

You Alone Are My Strength

Image
Beloved, This mortal frame of mine,  Is your soul's home, In that unseen world where I reside with you, Your pneuma forms my days and my nights, My very own, Your eyes are my two planets, which consistently revolve around me, And your ever-echoing voice, Fills my universe, with a glimmer, Where we smile and rejoice, My heart's desire, Your absence absorbs all the light, Where I come down to war with myself, And every molecule inside me, for you, fights, It leaves me frightened, unnerved and weak, Beloved, my very own, my heart's desire, Know now, That you alone are my vigor, You alone are my strength.... Lulling You to Sleep

Beloved,  Did you speak with me? Convey if I am right, in the fashion your 'wisdom' approves you of, And if you did, here is my lullaby for you, I am the voice you seek, let me surround your being, I am the bird, at the window, near which, you silently try to sleep, I am the soul, which on your left, gazes your semblance through the night, As it quietly weeps, Sleep, my sweet soul, Sleep with the belief, that it is you, who makes me whole, Let my voice caress your being, and bathe your existence with the true love's gleam, And as the morrow's Sun rises, You must, for me, sing, Sleep, my sweet precious, Worry not for the haste, 'cause hastened steps lead to falls, But steady ones, come with a promise of promises being fulfilled, Sleep, my sweet beloved, With the confessions which arise from the depths of my heart and soul, Contemplate not, beyond the nature's gift of rumination, Be at peace, for I am still breathing, for I still exist, Sleep,

Cast Away

Image
In the Eastern terrain, amidst the golden rays, My appearance stays veiled for you, My Guardian Angel, I know not if I am forsaken or not, For I am yet to be conveyed so, I shall stay adorned in your lyrics and voice, And I shall remain the way you cast me away, Even if it be, until infinity, Yours Forevermore, Me.... The Forsaken Bride

Image
And as my soul looks, into your soul's eyes, I see myself, reigning your heart and mind, But into your mortal eyes, I seek myself, Help me find myself, Do I still reside therein? Or am I your forsaken bride? (c) S.S

I Would Forever Wait

Ask my shadow, my beloved for life, for I have lost all the capacity to convince you, How much my promises are true, But it holds no meaning for you now, Because history did repeat itself, Only this time, I stand on the path, where you stood before, Abandoned, Atleast you should have known and fathomed, my beloved, The pain of being left lifeless, But yes, Your wisdom won over my love, I would forever wait, Thank you, (c) S.S

The Demon

I read thee,  at 0333 hrs this night, I know not what came unto me, Countless twilights lay wet in my tears, Days that gleam with my constant fears, I see the strangeness of the dreamt dreams, And await to free from the demon's clutch, For I see him in my sleep, Speaking of his wrath through endless screams, And I cover myself in the blanket of your memories.... My Real Home....

Image
I thank thee, for thine perseverance, my ever-loving heart, For every step I take hence forth, shall be towards a rising twilight, As only then I would welcome a new morrow, I admit I am broken and beyond my own life's authority, all these ephemeral earthly rules, But I remain firm, my very own, my only one, Firm at my heart, mind and soul, and by all means, yours, These stairs that I ascend upon, gleam with the golden rays of the Dusk Sun, And lead to where thou be, my real home.... Your Rose....

Image
And as the morrow sun rises, my beloved soul, You would see a rose, adorned in the colors of the twilight and day, Devoid of its own color , the symbol of its existence, red, Like a flickering flame, a soul, seeking life, pleading to blossom, But vacant and denuded with no vivacity, In all this, my charm, my precious, Your voice and the honey-coated thought of your smile, Is the red in this rose, The color, the blossom, the vivacity, all of it that governs me, your rose, Comes as You, You alone, Speak that sweetest phrase, and lend me a reason to bloom.... Poem & Sketch (c) S.S

My Shadow, My Very Own

Image
And after a repellent contemplation, I realize, I am pauperized, Of adoration, Of rumination, Of consciousness, Of pleasures or displeasure, I realize, I am sunken, But, May be, to sink is a price to be paid, To rise, An ascent that would forever carry a shadow, The shadow of wait, A shadow that is meant to turn alive, And not vanish, For then I would be devoid, Bereft of the only thing I can call my own, My shadow, My very own....
