Do Not Wake Me

Image
Darling You and I, Are like the two lost stars, But know that, Our universe isn't far, I'll carry the warmth of the Sun, While you haul the serenity of the Moon, And halfway we'll meet, At the intersection of our woven dreams, I have loved you absolutely, As sure as it can be, If your return is the truth, Make me believe, But if it's a mere illusion, Make sure not to wake me, I would love to depart in sleep.... Truthful Affection....Nothing More

Image
It's been a long meandering, This nomadic soul's wandering, From one shore to another, But deceit is all it has gathered, The depth,  Where nothing but darkness reigns, Endless strides, Where there have been only bereavement, no gains, She's tired, exhausted beyond expressions, Wounded with countless oppression, And all she seeks is peace, Far way from useless decrees, A word or two of truthful affection, Nothing more, And existence would be more than perfection ....... Autumn and Spring

Image
The autumn in my heart, succeeds with the autumn around, But it is the smile and voice of my beloved gem, That leaves me spellbound, How can I ever survive without your glimpse? Through the tough strides, the roughest paths, Through the life and matters of the heart, My pieces are held together by you, my sweet child, Perhaps the world thinks I am a fool, But it is the least I care about, 'Cause even when the leaves of my heart are busy shedding, Baring the tree of my faith, Your one utterance, 'Mom',  And the Spring of motherhood sheathes all the pain........ Beloved, You Puzzle Me !

Image
Beloved, You puzzle me, Is it the solace, That you present me with, through your ink, Is it the chaos, That you force upon me, with your silence? You appear,  And you vanish with a wink, Tell me, What do I fathom of your disappearance? (c) S.S

The Scrambled Colors

Image
Like the rainbow never stays forever, The colors of life too scatter, When the void deepens so much, Living incomplete in fate's clutch, The moments bygone, Hours yet to come, All look like the squares of the rubik's cube, Instances appearing without any clue, But it's okay, Seems my soul won't decay, 'Cause you are like the sip of that impassioned wine, A toss, and all scrambled colors would realign........ Catch Her If You Can

Image
There's a fire lit, in her fervent eyes, A playful smile, that breaks all ice, The rose on her lips,  Speaks of unspoken bliss, And a heart that gleams, With ceaseless dreams, With true promises, win her once, In your passion, she would forever dance, What is love, Unless you feel like a gliding dove, But shun her once, she'll slip off your hand, Like a fist gripping the escaping sand, Believe in her, like a humble man, Or else dear, She's a challenge, Catch her if you can!! Ideal Offering Of Love

Image
You, Who defines my every breath, Know that, More than your gift of uprightness, politeness and modesty, I seek your belief and an undying faith in me, Would you bestow me with that? For that, my beloved,  Shall be your ideal offering of love to me..... (c) S.S

Say No More....

Image
Approaching, The sound of his steps, She lay sheathed in her silken robe, Stars in the sky are not diamonds anymore, But fire balls, ready to explode, And the anticipation ends, as he calls her name, Yearning to hold his beloved dame, Two pair of eloquent eyes, like merging rivers, Lips full of urges, endlessly quiver, Their longing silhouettes, frequent mumbles, Passion filled forms, restlessly tremble, Aphotic drizzling twilight,  Two hearts in majestic flight, A dancing candle flame, Faint whispers like fervor's ceremonious rain, And all she says, "Let us be the prisoners of love, Beneath the enamored sky above, Oh mine, Seal the door, And say no more............." Seek Her Heart

Image
Seek not her frame, dearest, For your heart rests therein, Her soul has embraced and cradled, Even though with the blows, Her bright pneuma has become dim, Seek her heart, dearest, For it resided in you, Which you chose to lock In material casket instead, While it lamented being ignored, By the one who once loved, The material her wasn't curtained from you, For once, fathom her spirit too, And you shall know, Even through the bruises, she loves you........ Rose and Drowned

Image
I was in heaven,  Strolling in the arcadia of glistening stars, Seeking my Moon, I meandered from the spheres afar, I opened my eyes, And found myself, lost in the winding contours, Pursuing you, Like a sliding drop, midst lines of the palm, I took off, Catching a glimpse of myself, flying high, I had sought you, Like the plucked petal, merging back with the flower, I fell, Slithered and sinking in the earthly well, Watching you watch me from above, I drowned, wishing, hoping, anticipating........ Yours Forever

Image
My love since times unknown, Let for once, the tumult be gone, The moon in my heart refuses to shine, Until it hears you call me yours, Awaiting here, this moment, Forgetting for once, the aching bygone hours, I wish to read your unpenned thoughts, Like rainfall upon my heart's draught, My soul always, in your being meanders, What else do I say to express, That I am yours forever.... My Guardian Angel

Image
My guardian angel, here rises the Sun, A new morrow has come, Sweet is the essence, Your fervor's fragrance, Blowing across the winding spheres, Your blazing aura, has sought me here, There isn't a 'now',there isn't a 'then', My songs, for you alone I pen, I rose from the sea, was buried in the earth, Now I breathe again, soul's ironical mirth, I look at the sky, there's nothing I see, Because I am afloat, at your love's mercy, So wake up now, remember me once more, There's no ending, to our love lore...... Where Must I Flow? Where Must I Fall?

Image
A myriad of expressions still lay in my heart,  phrases meant for you alone, Wish you realized, Before your dereliction killed me with invisible shards, Nothing rises beyond my soul, Words don't appear on my lips, Something drags me further than before, And I am lost, not knowing the address to my shore, Tell me, If I am the lone river, adrift in tempestuous moments, Where must I flow? Where is my sea? A light of your presence, engulfs me still, The rainbow within me, meant for you alone, Wish you could fathom, Before your goodbye slipped inside me like a death pill, All I feel is a heavy throat, Tears which don't flow, but still don't halt, I let dignity hold me tight, Ever since I fought your abandonment's fright, And I am lost, having lost the sight and insight, Tell me, If I am the lone drop, suspended in the air, Where must I fall? Where is my earth? (c) S.S

Our Being's Piteous Nothingness

Image
What is there to seek or desire? To live knowing that the body is a temporal cloak, To breathe realizing that any moment the clock might stop, To hope and be hopeless at the same time, To understand nothing is ours, still calling everything as 'mine', To talk of virtuous and righteousness,  While being controlled by greed's harness, Aren't we all blind?  Life itself is the treacherous heart's deceit to the upright mind, All this is nothing, But our being's piteous nothingness.... Only If

Image
If, Only if you could fathom my devotion, Only if you could see deep inside of me, Only if you could know what words can inflict, Only if you realized my soul's unease, Only if you could save all those goodbyes, The present wouldn't have been what it is.... (c) S.S

You Blatant Soul

Image
Oh blatant soul, with character so frail, I suggest you change your name, It's sick to see you sway your tail, In front of every spinster dame, You have no esteem, No dignity for real, I wonder why in pain, I still scream, I mistook you as ideal, That's the door,  Pick up your crap and leave, I let the last drop of mourning pour, Burying the ache, ceasing to grieve, Enjoy your countless rendezvous', You are a man with an eye for every women, I pray that our paths never cross, Or I'll storm you in the hatred's dungeons.... Requiem of Memories

Image
In the book of requiem of memories,  Penning love's elegies,  Questioning my existence,  Upon heart's innocent insistence,  Holding the pen of elegiac madness,  I write of sorrows and sadness....  Poem & Image (c) S.S

Elegy of Dreams....

Image
In that long walk through countless streams, I wove a thousand dreams, Even in the terrains afar, I saw a million falling stars, I grew back my broken wings, To ride the blissful rainbow springs, And flew to the highest skies, Chasing ceaseless scattered smiles, I grabbed few glistening rays of the Sun, Felt you closer until we were one, Tip toed and danced on the clouds, Wearing your promises and your fervor's shroud, Just when I was on the life's edge, You pushed me down with an unknown grudge, I fell and died with silent screams, My soul sees the girl in the sky, still weaving dreams............ Beneath Aurora's Vibrant Sheathe

Image
A timid inner self, In front of the vast perfidious world, Feels like a forsaken elf, A glimpse of truth, Shines through the sky of falsehood, Like fate, grinning out of ruth, A fog envelops, Existence safe in nature's shroud, A faith develops, A ceaseless amble, With an endless hope and perseverance, Every breath, a trick in life's gamble, I am tired, Exhausted and weary, A castle, broken and dilapidated, A wish to halt and breathe, To incessantly sleep, Beneath aurora's vibrant sheathe.... Give Life to My Faith

Image
Through the crests and troughs,  Of the notes of my heart,  Listen,  To the song,  That I,  Sing all alone,  Through the darkness and light,  In the world of my soul,  Stride forth,  And,  Step in,  I am breathing all alone,  Here,  I stand,  Awaiting,  To be held by your hand,  Strumming,  Humming,  Living,  Dreaming,  Believing,  So come now,  Lend your faith in my life,  And give life to my faith....  Poem & Drawing (c) S.S

The Hour of Salvation

Image
Oh sweet orb of the night,  Shower a ray of hope upon me,  When every strand of my hair,  In a celestial luminescence would gleam,  When the darkness would be my castle,  With walls of heavenly stars,  At the door of the tranquil sky,  The moon will knock with its brilliant sheen,  Setting my glum face aglow,  Dazzling with its incandescent beam,  Soul rising from the life's lows,  Radiating the path ahead,  With a twinkling stream,  There,  Then would be the moment,  Of widest smile on my lips,  Eyes with transcendence lit,  The hour of my salvation....  (c) S.S

The Final Dive

Image
Lived in the terrain of sham, Breathed the air of fallacy, Weaved the hope's yarn, Imprisoned by accusations of mendacity, Escaped the walls of deception, Embraced by the arms of throes, Abandoned midst bars of prevarication, Conscious of the rampant sorrows, Glided in the sky of temporal smiles, Wings shredded by a sudden storm, Lost control, fell down countless miles, Until I hit the ground of forlorn, What a shame to be alive, Better to experience the final dive........ Almighty's Arcadia

Image
I seek no substantial pleasures, Neither do I yearn for pearls and treasures, All I sought was unerring promise, Not the deceit adorned in truth's zemis, Enough of trickery, Pretense and hypocrisy, I can no more pen of love, Now I crave for the sky above, Be joyous, be blessed with countless blossoms, I am grateful you took all my efflorescence, I redeem now, my ebullience for that Utopia, Which I lovingly call Almighty's arcadia........ Life's Concluding Trip

Image
A hurt too adamant, It refuses to die, A love too incessant, Like a howling wolf, it cries, An echo repeating the inner voice, The soul trembling on a desperate choice, Was it real or was it a dream? Sleeps are defined, by misled screams, What was meant to be forever, Like mirror, it lays shattered, What was it that we had, That a prick turned into a stab? A torment that has me hollow, Is closer than my own shadow, Wherever I run, wherever I hide, My heart sails back, on memory ride, Oh frantic soul, be not discomposed, It was a moment, that destiny had proposed, Lose yourself to the Nature's grip, The Lord awaits, take the Life's concluding trip........ The Lone Pebble

Image
"It's been eons, Having been enveloped, By hypocrisy's dungeons, The blissful white froth, Would carry the blessed ones, Across the endless seas, To the divine terrain, Where duplicity is shunned, The land of magnificence, Where, truthfulness is unbound, Waiting for the waters of Midas touch, I am the lone pebble, Lost in the crowd, Yet to be found...." Says the Lone pebble, At the shore of Foss.... Poem & Image (c) S.S

Lake Como

Image
At the foothill of the majestic Alps, The magnificence calls, Splendor of the heaven, flows gloriously, Encompassed midst the glacial walls, Like an exquisite dream, it beholds my sight, The alluring blue, Can anything compare to this blissful delight? The glistening reflections Of cypress and palms, Embraces the dancing ripples, Lending my soul, a much sought calm, A whiff crosses my lost senses, Leading me deeper, into Nature's hysteria, Embellishing the lovely sloping mountains, Is the fragrance of enticing camellias, Walking past the Villa Carlotta, I am consumed by the ever blooming blossoms, Espied by enthralling marble figurines, In me emerge all the seasons, Is there any exceeding dwelling on earth, That shall absorb all my pain, Where I wouldn't feel any privation or dearth, And the existence wouldn't seem to be in vain, It is here, where my soul rests, Devoted unconditionally to my being, Here where this pneuma is aglow, The bewitchin

Poets -- Over A Cup Of Tea

Image
Giggles defining a cordial indulgence, Eyes gleaming with frenzied effulgence, Sprinkling the beauteous expressions on paper, Penning of sorrows and love, of sadists and makers, Words and lyrics and verses and odes, Croissant, donuts, tarts and phyllos, Poetic hearts from farthest shores, Or the splendid rhymer, staying next door, I wish there was an elegiac spree, When we all could meet over a cup of tea..... Nature's Humble Slave

And in my subconscious self,  I am the maiden sheathed in white muslin,  Caressed by the morning mist,  Midst the rainforests of the Amazon,  Gazing a beauteous unicorn,  The ever blossoming fragrances,  Soothing all my senses,  This,  In between the greens and the dew,  Is the afterlife,  Miles away from the earthly strife,  Where every passion is new,  I shall live,  Die,  Live,  Die,  And be so forever there,  And be the Nature's humble slave.......  (c) S.S
