Battling....

Image
Inflammation of the sore heart, is far from the mortal form's capacity to contemplate, Breathlessness and ache defines the physical self, Darkness and deliberate distance from the earthly world defines the inner-self, But do ye who call my own understand the tumult? Leave alone the intensity of the upheaval, I contest and challenge their capability of such reflection! Nay, but I declare ye cannot fathom what is damaged within me, To stand alongside the hurt form, be not same, As to stand in affirmation to the agonized pneuma's plea, Try not to mend what lays scattered, Endeavor to bring together the pieces of a broken mirror, And you shall see the scars still remain, ready to turn into wounds, Speculate oh worldly souls, Observe and ponder over what say you all, And you shall foresee a dead form, still shackled, For she died fighting and still tied.... Anticipating....

Image
Make way through the time, into my atrocious life, Look back on the path you strode upon, And you would see the endless light,  It would be the glitters of thine steps, my beloved, And as you halt to reevaluate your affection, You shall see the black smoke rise, The smoke of lack of faith, And you would see me, still anticipating, thine arrival.... Looking Back

She doesn't say that she has walked upon roses and velvet, But she had not learnt the art of stride upon thorns, And now as she looks back on the path covered, A long trail of blood sheathed footprints are seen, Which to her bewildered self, are her own.... (c) S.S

Howl

Image
And hear my howl, Of love, Of pain, Of yearning, Of seeking, Of calling, Of tenderness, Of craving For I am me, when alive, And in spirit, when no more.... Poem & Sketch (c) S.S

Seeking the Greatest Miracle

Image
Anticipation of the anomic soul, Is the sweetest and the saddest apprehensions of all, What has been heard, and has been read, thee, Now is sought for real, as the greatest miracle of this inept being.... Poem & Sketch (c) S.S

I Await the Answer

Image
I breathe not in illusion, But I detest the reality, The actuality of the pain, Ye who say they understand, Be more than their bounds of fathomable capacity, And thou, who be the righteous, I await the answer, Do you stand with the crowd to give me the final blow? Or Do you repose to hold my frame when I collapse? I wouldn't know until thou hold my hand.... Poem & Sketch (c) S.S

Cry Once

Image
Cry once, those belittled tears, Make space for strength, and shed those fears, Be tenacious, Oh daughter of the One Spirit, There is no one, that you can call your own, You are and have been a drop, floating in the seas of falsities, It's time you rise, make your own cloud, your own rain and your own sea.... Until........ I Am Fallen

Never did this soul dream, even in its scariest nightmares, That the life would be devoid of all its sheen, Not in tiny fragments, but in fires of shrill and screams, Melting my inner-self to nothingness, But yet, I shall not fall, Never did the life seem so trivial and inane, That every single breath challenge my wish to breathe, And I force inhale the repudiations of unreliability and improbability, Like being absorbed, by a whirlwind of an unbearable affliction, But yet, I shall not fall, Never did I think that tears were so undervalued, That they too are forced to testify their authenticity and genuineness, Oh how much I pity the eyes, which cry the burning drops of salt, Emerging from the soul, I stumble, I balance, But to my dismay, until the words from you, I am fallen.... Your Beloved for Life, Your Beloved in Death

Image
Your dove is what you have named me, Your pearl and your flower, You adorned my soul with your pristine verses, And I stood exalted and honored, I shall take all ridicule,  I shall take your wrath, I shall swallow your resentment, Your exasperated rage, But listen Oh Man of the God, I would be forever,  The dove of your cage, A cage built with your love, Your divine embrace, Where I shall proudly belong, if you let me, Where I shall breathe and I shall age, Where I shall die in peace, For it would be your hands that shall offer, The first spadefuls of sand, As buried shall be my casket, Wherein I would rest, as your beloved for life, And your beloved in death.... Adieu this Life

And it came, Like the only blow, And I can feel the water filling me, I would drown soon, Remember me if you all may, But burn my name to ashes, For I see it gives you pain, Waiting for you to lend me back my breaths Until then, Adeiu this Life (c) S.S

Man of The God

Image
Oh Man of the God, This be my epistle of devotion, Call it not an act from a Shakespearean drama, It be the truth, and truth alone, I be not a performer of farce or a Thespian art, I be the Almighty's caste, Born in the material World, amongst the most earthly beings, It suffocates me to be a fragment, of such a false galore, 'Cause of which, I deal often with thine sarcasm and ridicule, We be born, each one of us souls here, in different cultures, We be born as different people, with different values, We be born midst democratic, dictatorial or a secular set-up, We be born , to follow, or to challenge, the ways and the rules, Be it wrong or right, We be born to think, contemplate and know, what for us be right, I, breathe by force midst such worthy and unworthy beings, But nothing deters my dedication or devotion towards my promises, My ultimate goal, Oh Man of the God, Call not a loving heart, a performer, By addressing such, be not a part of the crowd t

Without You, I Would Perish

Image
If I stumble, think not that I am weak, It would be 'cause I am a mortal frame, That knows not how to stride forth, Without its shadow, If I cry, think not that I am broken, It would be 'cause I am a dying sea, That knows not how to subsist, Without its rain, If I wither, think not that I have departed, It would be 'cause I am a fighting warrior, Who knows not how to battle, Without its strength, For, my beloved life, My shadow, my rain and my strength, All exist in You, Without you, I shall be bereft of life, I would perish.... To Be One

Image
Thine words spread, into my mortal veins, my soul is sterile no more, uplifted it is, to the loftiest highs, As saith my redeemed soul to me, "I shall keep a promise, my beloved, to be with thee, until the end", How do I thank thee, my saccharine dream, For splashing the seas of thine mercy upon me, I shall smile, and bow at thine divine feet, And I shall kiss those which traipsed into my harrowing existence, Thou be the God-sent for me,  the one extant paradigm of righteousness, virtue, truthfulness and verity, I shall keep my promise my archangel, to be with thee, Whence I shall become thee and thou shall be me. (c) S.S

Unshackle

Oh the air of duplicity and mendacity, Consume her, if you dare, For firm she reposes now, Lend how many more tremors you may, She be tenacious to break the chains, And be unshackled from false restraints.... (c) S.S

Take Me Back Into Your Womb

Image
Mother, Take me back in that warmth, where I curled to that quiet and comfort, Where my smiles weren't tied to the chains, And tears weren't ruled by endless blames, Mother, One more time, let me lie in your lap, Where all I could see is you, looking at me, Without any deceit or falsity, Far from indictments or disparagement, Mother, I have traversed for long on the roads of forlorn, I have breathed for long the air of obloquy and resentfulness, What I thought was water, was the agonized pain I bathed in, Mother, If you may soothe my wounds, If you may revive my inner-self, Take me back into your womb.... Half Moon

Image
Oh Half moon, I see myself in you,  Half be my semblance,  Without my beloved's,  Half be my existence,  Without my significance,  Oh Half moon,  I believe as I see your partial glimpse,  So does my other half sees,  And perhaps,  Thinks of me....  (c) (S.S)

Your Cherished Bride

Image
Take heed, says he, And so shall it be, 'Cause so is exclaimed, In the lines of our palms, To seek and be sought, To love and be loved, A proclamation was heard, From the Heaven's vault, "When your love is true, The hearts shall meet, The souls shall be one, And hence the togetherness, Shall be won", I shall choose to live, A day as your better half, Than a thousand days, Of dying apart, My stride has fastened, Hastened is my pace, Leave open the doors of your abode, My beloved, As you accept me, as your cherished bride.... (c) S.S

I Love Thee, Endlessly

The keeper of my heart, The shepherd of my breaths, The protector of my soul, The preserver of my love, My Guardian Angel I love thee, endlessly, Let me say I love thee, with my every breath, Until that moment, when there shall be no breath, If there be no confession, I love thee, endlessly.... Appease My Aching Soul

Ask me How I am, I'll answer I am fine,  But know the truth my love, At all the given time, You rule my mind, When I feel cold at night, Shivers in the cloudy twilight, I wrap my arms around me, And close my eyes, For all I wish at that moment, Is to rest my head on your chest, And be covered in your embrace, Yes, I wake up every night, Startled and stunned, At the sound of your voice, And I fail to go back to sleep, For the missing soars up high, I spend all my day, Wishing for the dusk to rise, For then one more day shall pass, A step closer on the path, That leads to you, Read my mind if you can, Have a glimpse of my heart, I am dying every moment, Without your words, without your voice, Without the sound of your laughs, Each moment is a struggle with life, If you love me my beloved heart, Soothe my agonized heart, Appease my aching soul, 'Cause life is worthless without you.... The Sun of My Universe

Image
The crescent moon, You gleam through the twilight sky, adorned by shredded clouds, The Ursa Major stars in a sophisticated sheen, peep unto my semblance, I say to you, oh brightest heavenly stones, Sparkle as much as you may, But yet, the most glistening of the celestial existences, Is my beloved's heart, Thine blissfully brilliant heart, blazes winning over the morrow Sun, And brightens up my every night, clinquant than the silken moon, You, my being's euphoria, are the Sun of my universe....... The Tower Of Imagination

From the dazzling tower of delight, where gleams the fervor's brightest lights, I see thine glistening form, immaculate and pristine with countless pearls, Where thine smile treasures the most priceless gemstones, The sound of thine voice, enraptures my futile existence, and the hollow emerges as worthwhile, From the sparkling fort of fervor, reflects my heart's confessions, I perceive thine luminous soul, mirroring it's pellucid zest, Upon my obscure survival, elevating me to perfect utopian extents, You hold my barrenness in thine glorious hands, and the undeserving rises to be dignified, (c) S.S

Faith Means Faith

Striding past the utopia of endless visions, I halt and look back, "Whose be those footprints in blood?" Letting go off the disquiet, I resume, "Oh have I ever seen such blossoms?" And from the earthly whispers, rises one voice, "Come to me, my beloved, I am here,  I have been here since time unknown, Where be thou, my long sought dream?" Aghast! "Does the material aura, still talks of the wait? Or is it my soul's welcomed assumption, That there still persists, true fervor?" "I love thee with a promise to never forsake thee" Oh how beauteous is the sound of thine voice, When it be adorned with such delightful confessions, I bestow all my faith unto thee, Such is my soul's veracity, Oh, flag it not as a purblind certitude, For faith has only one name, It has one meaning alone, Prefix it not with 'eyeless' or 'unseeing', Suffix it not with 'distorted' or 'apocryphal', Fa

I Am Crystallized

It's the ice of randomness, Breaking upon the sought tranquil, A beauteous drizzle of the white flakes, Sheathing my futile being,  Freezing beyond the black veil, My skin turns into ivory white, Seeing the shadows of the saline froth, Feeling like mistress of the tides, Now freezing, Frozen, I am crystallized.... Tear Apart My Being for Truth

The verses emerging from my innerself, The lyrics which my barren soul hums, The poem that escapes my still lips, The expressions which well up in my eyes, The rhyme that my every breath pens, The sonnets which symbolize my strides towards you, The villanelle that exposes my soul to you,  All these, my beloved, might seem like a splatter of words, A mere gust of lines and phrases, Tear apart my being and have a glimpse of my heart, 'Cause as your sight would fall upon my sterile heart, It would come to life, And then would it express to you, What thou mean to me, My beloved for life, I love thee, truly........                           ~S.S~

The Glorious Cadence

What composes the Divinity in Nature? The pristine rain drops, merged with the saccharine mist, Damp leaves, bathed in the echoes of ever-blowing winds, Countless snow crystals, fusing with the tepid earth, All seasons melding in unison, symbolizing a glorious cadence, My beloved for life, Such is the rhythm that my soul perceives, When it sees your soul unveiled........ I Wish To Bloom

Fall upon me, light up my being, Like the first golden ray of the morrow's Sun, It's cloudy today, and I am seeking my only gleam, When you rise,  Every morning, And thine words, Shine upon me, I bloom like a flower, When you say, That you love me, I smile, Endlessly, So rise, Rise in my morrow sky, Clear the veil of mist, I wish to bloom.... (c) Shilpa Sandesh

Forever Complete

Hopes, And wishes, Soul's endless prayers, I sought you since long, Like a restlessly fluttering butterfly, Which has dared the most fiery storms, Questing for the nectar, born for me alone, And, You are, Here in me, Since the very eternity, But just few miles away, I am coming home to you, Adorn, My being, With the petals, Of your ardent soul, Only then I would be, Forever complete........ (c) Shilpa Sandesh

When I Read Thine Verses

Poesy emerges from my soul, Wherein every fragment in my frame, Comes together to establish my undying love for thee, And as I read thine majestically penned verses, My beloved soul, I utter to myself, "Oh my eternal love, How delightfully thou persuade my heart, 'bout thine everlasting love for me, Meekness envelops me and I refrain to look at my lyrics, 'cause midst the drizzles of thine unparalleled intonations, and in depth expressions, I see mine as meager and sparse" (c) Shilpa Sandesh

No Words Are Enough

When the clouds of phrases and etymons would hover upon me, When my whole-self would be drenched in the rains of endless words, When every part of me would be the root of all the vocable, Yet, My precious love, I would fail to express the intensity of my love  and the truthfulness of my promises.... (c) Shilpa Sandesh

I, For You

Like the Alectoris Chukar, sealing its sight with the Moon, I follow your semblance with my every breath, Like the Hierococcyx varius, seeking the first drop of Swati nakshatra, I seek to be drenched in the sound of your voice, Like a restless soul prays to the One Spirit, I worship you, pleading every moment for the grace of thine love upon me, My beloved, I love you, I adore you and I worship you.... (c) Shilpa Sandesh

Veiled

Image
And midst the plentiful of substantial truths, And true falsities, You and I exist, But does the material galore affect my being? No, as my existence stands well bounded, By the profoundly devout love, of my beloved, My other half, Beneath the worldly sheathes of silk and muslin, Let me veil my form,  With an ethereal robe of true love, commitment and dedication, Which shall be unveiled, only by your hands, your breaths and everything that beautifully composes you........ (c) Shilpa Sandesh
