Piqued

Image
Let the dew drops dance, Upon the frozen petals, As the pounding heart, reclaims astral levels, Where the cries are unheard, Ears deafened with spiritual ecstasy, Where the words are mere murmurs, Like raining daisies, Quenching the thirst of the brightest light, The mortal form lifts to infinitesimal height, Light upon me, Oh almighty, Countless rays of forgiving capacity, End this being, that lay bruised and tangled, Or bless me with truth,  Without falsities mingled, Heal what lies damaged, Lend a new identity to the defaced, Battered flutters the trembling soul, To walk is beyond my ability, All I can do, is but crawl........ Dear Someone

Image
Dear Someone, You're charming, And I am sure, Intellectually engrossing, You liked her, didn't you? Because she stood apart, You did realize, Women like her are few, What was it then, That you fell deaf to her cries, Knowing that it was you, Who always lied, Was it your way, To hide your guilt? And crush her love, Trusting you she had built, What a man, Shame on you! (c) S.S

A Wish To be The Orion

Image
I wish my eyes could be, The gleaming Bellatrix and Betelguese, I too would stay in the sky above, Watching the fools on the Earth, Shattering hearts with substantial ease, I wish my mortal silhouette could be, The glittering Mintaka, Alnitak and Al neelam, I too would wear the darkness of the night, Pitying the dissatisfied lots below, Adorning the shroud of false confessions, I wish my feet could be, The ever twinkling Saiph and Rigel Kent, I too would stride in the pure azure, Thankful for not being born on the Earth, Where everyone is responsible, For one another's pain and dearth, I don't wish to be here anymore, I wish I could be the Orion above........ To Onyx

Image
A woman is a floret, Fragile, yet tenacious, A daughter of fortitude, Capable to stand firm, midst hurdles, Of immeasurable magnitudes So am I, You, who wears that onyx, I need none (c) S.S

Her Enraged Gaze

Image
She'd forgotten the frozen ice, That he left her in the form of, Melted to nothingness in her own eyes, She curses the misaligned stars above, There's a well beneath her feet, An endless depth into her tears, Every moment fears are what she greets, Wishing for the end to near, Why did the heart fall, And the devotions shower, Unfailingly she gave her all, Only to feel her spirit falling lower, Her complaining eyes are on him, Who disregards her with a grin, Watch her sullen gaze,  It's nothing more than an outrageous maze, Is this always the gift of a beloved? She is imprisoned in a wondering cage, Punished with the shards of memories being shoved, can't forgive, can't forget, She's stuck in the silent cries of rage, Forever........ (c) S.S

The Final Fall

Image
Across the seas of dissipating emotions, moments of heartfelt and immortal devotions, Through the mirrors shattered by trust's and misbelief's strife, Lies crumpled, the story of my life The diary of existence, has no more pages, I have been penning for you, since ages, No more space, for any call, There's just a wait, for the final fall, (c) S.S

Dear Son....

Image
Dear son, My beloved life, You are one in a million, A part of me, from skies afar, I still remember, How the brightest Sun shined, When I held you, divine and tender, Why should I cry for love? Why should I lament? When I have the best, from stars above, If ever, I don't live enough to see you grow, My beloved son, Feel my fragrance, in the winds that ceaselessly blow, Bend only in front of His mercy, For He granted you to me, Be a symbol of generosity and benignancy, And finally, when I die, Promise me that you won't shed a tear, My baby, even when no more, I won't bear to see you cry, I Love You Forevermore, Yours forever, Mom....
