The Falling Maples- Living Unconditionally- Poetry by S.S

 Dear beloved, Let us be lost in an otherworldly dimension, where night's oblivion meets, The sun's fierce obsession...... S.S

 It is in the night's honeyed lull, that I walk in trance, of his wizardly spell, From the distance of a thousand miles, he chants an alluring hymn, To every crest of which, I pause awhile, Each preceding step, spies the next, and my soul gets tangled, 'tween the heart's desire and the mind's behest, To love was never so meddling, It was meant to be, an eternal calling, Lest the world crumbles and falls, I must take another leap, towards his mystical call....... S.S

With each passing day, My beloved, I observe your fervent silence, and a thought comes piercing towards me, like a thousand poisonous darts, That in your persistence, I exist no more, I stay entombed, in some silent corners of your heart...... S.S

And her voice, is all that it takes, For the barriers to break, That moment when her words, pull him from the hollows, and their frigid dreams unfurl, Those masked dams of time and distance, that lay scattered 'tween those lofty mountains and the glorious seas....... S.S

And she unfurled, petal by petal, as he composed the song called 'L O V E', Upon her unclad skin, Only to find the lyrics, filling her up to the brim, A fiery abyss of passion, Into the depths of which,  they kept crumbling....... S.S

Ferry me to the seas,  where a ceaseless tranquility sways, To the tunes of the crashing waves, Or carry me to the mountains, where the pristine flakes of snow, lifts us from the worldly lows, Or else if you may, take me to the skies, where the stars dance in a soulful rendezvous, and by their light, our souls are hallowed, That blessed sphere, my beloved, where everything becomes nothing, yet everything becomes whole, is where we began, and it is there that we must return......... ~S.S~

Beyond that otherworldly call, Dwells the healer of all shattered beings, Through the waters of a rustling waterfall, The leashed souls are seen freeing........ S.S
