Friendly Solace

Don’t you hush dear! Don’t refrain. He took your sweet love, Exchanged it for pain. These two arms are wide and open, That you’d cry to me I was kind of hoping. No silhouetted hidden agenda Just a friend to trust Someone who defends you. Bid him goodbye and I’ll bid you hello I’m here and I’m waiting I want you to know.

To hush, my dear friend,

Isn't always a slave to our choice,
Time at times makes us bend,
And lips stay sealed, while eyes remain moist,
Love, it is but a mere word with four letters,
Whatever and however one devotes oneself,
The current gets sheathed, in wishes of something better,
I am glad, beyond expressions,
To have a loyal friend in you,
Because in this world of regression,
Lies overflow, but true friends are few.......
