Real Knock at Unreal Door
It was a swing of bare emotions,
True, unerring,
Balanced with the rope,
Of Love's undeterred notions,
Where did the strings begin to rip,
When my whole self was fervidly devout?
Do you know,
The question would haunt me until death;
Like an effervescent butterfly,
My lips were never devoid of smiles,
I strode forth with all might,
Oh, how I remember my soul's vigor,
It's whirl and sway of truthfulness,
To my own eyes, was a divine sight;
And just when I reached,
To knock at that door,
It was shut with a sign,
"I was unreal, I was false,
You don't belong here,
You were just a witless thrill,
For as long as I wished"......
