'Neath the Weeping Willow Tree

T's 'neath the weeping willow tree,
My hushed dreams glide free,
When every night my soul crawls,
And glorious hopes take a fleeting fall,
Unbound by fatuous worldly decrees,
I find reprise 'neath the wailing willow tree........

A tap, And a swirl, A clap, And to the eternal cante, I whirl, Is it the wilderness, Or is it the craze? I know not, Fingers snap, In tune with the strings, As I balance and sway, Like a bird spreading its wings, The rhythm of  soleá, And arrives a breeze of romance, As I balance my steps, While absorbing your glance, Irrevocably engrossed, In the saccharine harmony, Of your cheer and glee, Crisply twirling, endlessly, Lost in your eyes I strut with a violent ease, As, for you, I perpetually flounce, Toe tapping, through the Flamenco dance........
