(c) Shilpa Sandesh Wake up, Good morrow to you! For you're to me, The first ray of the morrow sun; For I wish to see you rub those drowsy eyes, And wake up from that soporific sleep; I know the night was long, Our frames were interlaced with each other, but not along; You appeared in my gorgeous specter, Even the rainbow smiled, spilling upon me its seven colours; The day be a special one, as you'd soon hold a fraction of me, The surface you would touch, bears my touch unseen, So wake up, From that sublime sleep, It's the moment for us to meet........
(c) Shilpa Sandesh I am tied, To thy destiny, A celestial entanglement, Of what fervor be, Your voice, Oh my fiery flame, Imprisons my soul, Leaving me sequestered, In the allures of your love, This mortal form of mine, Whims to feel, the caress of thy breaths, The closeness of thy blazing frame, When, The sights, the smiles, The voices, The whispers, The warmth and zeal, All become one, One, As we stride, With impassioned steps, And inflamed pace, On our ardent crusade....
A tap, And a swirl, A clap, And to the eternal cante, I whirl, Is it the wilderness, Or is it the craze? I know not, Fingers snap, In tune with the strings, As I balance and sway, Like a bird spreading its wings, The rhythm of soleĆ”, And arrives a breeze of romance, As I balance my steps, While absorbing your glance, Irrevocably engrossed, In the saccharine harmony, Of your cheer and glee, Crisply twirling, endlessly, Lost in your eyes I strut with a violent ease, As, for you, I perpetually flounce, Toe tapping, through the Flamenco dance........
