The Orphic Reverie

 Let for one random moment,

be that glistening ray of the morrow's Sun,

Which tresspasses the prevailing torment,

and smiles upon the earth, for no apparent reason,

When the wildflowers whisper, in the lull of the night,

dancing to the winds, in those sprawling distant fields,

Let's be the fireflies, carousing away in delight,

Nonchalant, from what next moment might yield,

'Neath the willow tree, where two lovers lay entwined,

Let's sway to the notes of their fanciful romance,

Adrift from the world, mystically inclined,

Striding upon the path, of an irreversible trance,

If there exist, such undefined trices, of an orphic reverie,

Then my love, let's be lost for once, in that unnamed glory........
