(c) Shilpa Sandesh If at all, There exists that mystic spell, That would make me rise, Transparent, From my forbidden shell, Would you cast it on me? If at all, Prevails the true love's hymn, That would make me surrender, My whole self, In your world, Would you hum it for me? If at all, Dwells a bewitching universe, Farthest from the orb, Of our mortal beings, Would you live it with me?

(c) Shilpa Sandesh And my lips shall pen, The definition of my soul, On thy mortal frame, Bathing your soul, In the allure, Of our impassioned flame.... 

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Missing it's sky, Consciousness so wry, That cloud cried, A thousand tears.... 

(c) Shilpa Sandesh She is like a droplet, Of the night dew, That stays on the vibrant green leaves, Waiting for that long sought, Parched traveler, Who shall quench his thirst, As he would moisten his lips, By kissing, The divine drop........

c) Shilpa Sandesh Gossamer and gauzy, Sheathed under a permeable cloak, The soul is a loner, In every worldly frame, And so is mine, With a yearning so divine, That the mind goes numb, And the material silhouette, Defies the rules of being alive, As it stops breathing, Rising above all that is visible, All that these substantial eyes can perceive, And the soul exits, Into the newfound orbs, Where it shall wait, With all the patience of the immortal soul, For thy seraphic neuma........ 

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Lying amidst, The desert storm, On the Sands burning like fire, And dewy eyes, All that my inner self contemplates, Is you....

(c) Shilpa Sandesh Summer noon, The silence blooms, But I still hear your voice, Like the faintest whisper, Of the humming wind, The sky goes dark, As if swallowed the day, And night's here, And my soul, Between the material and divine, Sways, And I once again hear your voice, "My darling dame, I waited here, for a smile of yours, But in the substantial mist, You arrived late, But you are here, So let me come forth, And embrace thy frame, Where resides my heart, And your soul reigns.... " And I am once again left, Speechless....
