Speechless in Love
(c) Shilpa Sandesh
Summer noon,
The silence blooms,
But I still hear your voice,
Like the faintest whisper,
Of the humming wind,
The sky goes dark,
As if swallowed the day,
And night's here,
And my soul,
Between the material and divine,
Sways,
And I once again hear your voice,
"My darling dame,
I waited here, for a smile of yours,
But in the substantial mist,
You arrived late,
But you are here,
So let me come forth,
And embrace thy frame,
Where resides my heart,
And your soul reigns.... "
And I am once again left,
Speechless....
