She Seared........

Image
What solace stems from the harrowed breaths, That the soul feels dismally obsessed with death? When shrieks the lifeless night aloud, As she looks hopelessly, at the barren cloud, The bones are frozen, the frame chiseled, To soothe the ache, rigor's embers drizzled, The form frosted and the heart charred to dust, And the ashes dispersed with a rushing gust........ 'Neath the Weeping Willow Tree

Image
T's 'neath the weeping willow tree, My hushed dreams glide free, When every night my soul crawls, And glorious hopes take a fleeting fall, Unbound by fatuous worldly decrees, I find reprise 'neath the wailing willow tree........                   ~S.S~

The Eloquent Pebbles

Image
It's amusing how the words converse, Like souls in a celestial traverse, I saw the words scattered today, When I stumbled upon the pebbles on my way, I heard the shriek of the sprinkled wonders, And felt they reflected my heart asunder, Picking the tiny vibrant rocks, I heard a faraway echoing mock, Gathered in a tiny earthen pot, The pebbles seem like poetic dots, Oh I hear them brim with delectation, Perhaps awaiting to be turned into altercation, My cherished, endeared, precious gems, I wonder what rhyme from you would stem........ Time Traveller

Image
I stayed afloat, in the cosmic rondure, Shunning the science of gravity, I traversed faster than the light, Barreling beyond the human capacity, Traversing back in the drooping past, Assuming to reach that bygone hour, I cruised upon the blaze, in a feverish haste, To consume and swallow that hideous mar, I am thrown in that moment with a throbbing thud, Falling in the embrace of the winsome seer, Feelings reclaimed in a boisterous flood, And I stay in the elapsed hour, like a time traveller............ Ashes of Faith

Image
Carving the hope, deep down my heart, Anticipating the futile faith for a start, I don the cape of lover's shroud, Until the wounded soul, shrieks louder than the loud, I watched the dancing feathers through the night, Saw my spirit burn until the twilight, What is left is the ashes of a believer, Cinders that shall stay with you forever, It is in these burnt embers, That you would see the saint in sinner, I shall teach the dust to fall in love, For I must take you along, upon fervor's doves, Today, Tomorrow, Someday, In this life, Or the afterlife........... Imprisoned in the Mirror

Image
She gazed at the mirror,  And saw a sinner, Wondered the witch, Who's reflection was it? The clouds thundered, And a clamor rumbled, "It isn't my voice, It was never my choice" And a black smoke formed, As the mirror groaned, Turning into sand, She began to shrink, Only to find her, Imprisoned in the mirror.... Fable of the Nile.........

Image
There was a beauteous river, That strutted and swirled lonely, As it ebbed with a strange quiver, An enchanter sought and drowned in her, with vows of affection forevermore, The river felt blessed, In his embrace she nestled, Moments and days passed, In her stillness one night, Nile shuddered in fright, Her own watchful maternal old bag, Picked the sands of where she streamed, Just like in the early ages of the river, The rotting dame worshiped the demons again, Her mind wasn't hers,  Something that Nile can't exclaim, The rivers would laugh, And would call her lame, Nile halted, Suddenly jolted, Never knowing what happened in the night, But least did she know, what she thought to be twilight, Was seven days past, Never has the Nile been so befuddled, Wizard was nowhere to be seen, She spent the nights embracing the rocks, Scared, baffled and fearfully huddled, Was it she who beheld some delict? Or was it the voice that possessed her? All seeme...
