Rumi
I wish to fathom that yearning, Rumi,
That sacred thirst of the One Spirit,
How did you bereave yourself Rumi,
Of the mortal pain and the fervid outbursts?
I desire to discern Oh Rumi,
What separates soul from its form,
This wound is beyond endurance, Rumi,
How do I rise from the storms of earthly forlorn?
I repose incomplete and solo, Rumi,
Teach me to elevate my pneuma to its zenith,
I would be blessed with peace, Oh Rumi,
When the spirit rises above, leaving the world beneath........
