The Chosen Stride
I am a world within myself,
I too have taken few strides in haste,
And designed some pitiful past,
Like you,
Like him,
Like her,
I have a sky,
With the clouds of reminiscences,
It's always cast;
Life's unfathomed regressions,
Have been my biggest lessons,
A lonesome tread seems more promising,
It won't lend me the moments of dispiriting;
And since I know not if one would leave or stay,
I choose to abandon all,
And walk on my own solitary way,
After all, there's no denying the truth,
I came alone and empty handed,
And so I must go........
