The Momentary Allure........
The dependence of one being over another,
However miles apart,
Their respective existences might be,
Is still a mystery for me;
The seemingly pristine pearls of promises,
Woven together into the strands of vows of love,
The momentary laughter and flights into dreams,
All that turns into life's biggest nemesis;
Why then interlace such unreal visions?
Just for the moment's excitement?
Or a temporal attachment?
Ever wondered if it's leading to calm or to confusion?
This is not what we were made for,
To lure, to be amused,
Only to find ourselves disinterested and bored,
Since when did truthfulness become so expensive?
