For the Sake of Persistence

Once again,

She resolves to meld,

with the fire within,

that blithely burns,

the proclaimed sins,

that blazing beset,

twirls emotions to embers,

and the flare begets,

affections asunder,

But the world still lives,

streaming like water,

sealed in life's archives,

saved from belittling splatter,

She persists,

for the sake of persistence.......
