The Destiny Too Awaits....
(c) Shilpa Sandesh
Through the entrapped paths,
Where at every footfall,
Her mortal self is left aghast,
Some are the temporal chapters,
The coming and bygone phases,
While some,
Some are the permanent hazes,
She dares the lonesome sail,
Across the mystic river,
For her, the river of woven dreams,
Where the world laughs,
To her beloved's smile's gleam,
Rowing the wooden raft,
In the early morrow hours,
When the mist begins to rise,
Dimming the substantial view,
Before the first ray of the Sun,
Kisses the material earth;
For one moment she seems,
Like a fairy lost in the winter fog,
But then,
She rises like a bewitching enchantress,
Drifting in the dark twilight waters,
bathing in an unfathomable darkness,
Patiently awaiting,
To reach the magical shore,
Where awaits her Wizard,
Holding a crystal ball;
Watching his fervor approach,
He rises,
A pair of eyes of fire,
Meets from a distance,
The pair of eyes of ice,
The heavenly orbs come to a still,
As the air is, with passion, filled,
Would his fiery eyes,
Set ablaze her dewy gems,
Or her tears of the melting ice,
Bring the impassioned flood?
And to savvy this staggering moment,
The Destiny too awaits........
Through the entrapped paths,
Where at every footfall,
