Apologies

(c) Shilpa Sandesh

A fish,
It has been doomed,
By it's own wrong strides,
And then it swooned,
In the fate's outrageous tides,
To seek apologies,
Have been like taking breaths,
Washed away were its ideologies,
To be in water it dreads,
Devoid of its fins,
It has no choice,
Neither can it swim,
Nor can it cry with a howling voice,
To be in blue,
Or to stay on the land,
It wonders what's true,
Or is it its pride's end,
May be it would live,
If it bends on its knees,
And before it takes the last dive,
It would ask for apologies............
