Paint Me As I Am

Neither with brush strokes,
Of hatching or scumbling or the gazing,
Nor with colours in oil or water,
Paint me with your words,
With your verses,
And your Odes,
Let pen be your brush,
And lyrics be your colours,
And thus,
Adorn my being,
Paint me as You see me,
Or paint me as I am...............

A tap, And a swirl, A clap, And to the eternal cante, I whirl, Is it the wilderness, Or is it the craze? I know not, Fingers snap, In tune with the strings, As I balance and sway, Like a bird spreading its wings, The rhythm of  soleá, And arrives a breeze of romance, As I balance my steps, While absorbing your glance, Irrevocably engrossed, In the saccharine harmony, Of your cheer and glee, Crisply twirling, endlessly, Lost in your eyes I strut with a violent ease, As, for you, I perpetually flounce, Toe tapping, through the Flamenco dance........
