The Lost Selfhood

Ripping words of outrage,
Swiping away the roots,
Questions that seldom owned courage,
Exerts to halt the pursuit,

No wonder the mortal frames,
dangle upon mendacity's strings,
No respite from choking complaints,
what peace can disarray bring?

To breathe midst ridiculous heads,
and pretend to merely exist,
Is to mirror the breeding living deads,
and to be hollow, yet somehow persist,

The veins now run bloodless,
Past, present, all lay erased,
caught in prejudices and attitudes,
In an infinite muddle, selfhood is set ablaze......
