An Anxious Wish

I wish I could melt,
into that pristine white,
as my frozen veins fight,
to bring this unrest to a halt,

A surging desire, beyond my control,
to dissolve and fuse, drop by drop,
into the crisp snow, upon the mountain top,
as the blizzards, would brush past in romantic stroll,

If thoughts alone can make the soul quiver,
I wonder, how mountains would make it shiver....
