A Deception or a Vision?
(c) Shilpa Sandesh
A heap of sand,
Sculpted as human,
Infused with a soul,
And a frail heart,
Surrounded by amassed concrete,
Awaiting that gust,
That gale, which shall swipe me,
Off my clay chiseled feet;
I wish to sway,
Amidst the clique,
Of countless galaxies,
And dance upon the winking stars,
Holding hands with your crystal soul,
From endless lands afar;
My eyes are closed,
And frame afloat,
I am alive and I am dead,
I breathe, but I don't,
You are here, but beyond my reach,
Am I asleep?
Is this a deception?
Or perhaps a vision?
A heap of sand,
Sculpted as human,
Infused with a soul,
And a frail heart,
Surrounded by amassed concrete,
Awaiting that gust,
That gale, which shall swipe me,
Off my clay chiseled feet;
I wish to sway,
Amidst the clique,
Of countless galaxies,
And dance upon the winking stars,
Holding hands with your crystal soul,
From endless lands afar;
My eyes are closed,
And frame afloat,
I am alive and I am dead,
I breathe, but I don't,
You are here, but beyond my reach,
Am I asleep?
Is this a deception?
Or perhaps a vision?
