The Sweetest Song, Of a Delightful Rendezvous

(c) Shilpa Sandesh

The wind has changed its course,
It comes from the past,
Caressing my present,
Designing the future dreams,
One day,
Yes, I believe,
One day it shall bring thou hither,
Or would carry me, to thy lands,
The terrain which has the path,
That is sheathed in the roses,
By the smile, which I can't see,
Beneath those fascinating eyes,
Say not a word,
Sing not a hymn,
For I wish to savor the sound,
That my feet make,
As they walk upon the flora,
For that sound, my beloved,
Is the song of soul reaching its gem,
The sweetest song, of a delightful rendezvous........
