Where be You, My Other Self?
(c) Shilpa Sandesh
These rains,
are my tears,
These winds,
the endless fears,
Each twilight,
Marks a ceaseless fight,
For material intent,
And the worldly rapt,
Two mortal bodies live apart,
But the spirits are entwined,
Until the death arrives,
And the two souls find their reprise,
in untraveled orbs and celestial skies,
Tell me,
Where be you, my other self?
These rains,
are my tears,
These winds,
the endless fears,
Each twilight,
Marks a ceaseless fight,
For material intent,
And the worldly rapt,
Two mortal bodies live apart,
But the spirits are entwined,
Until the death arrives,
And the two souls find their reprise,
in untraveled orbs and celestial skies,
Tell me,
Where be you, my other self?
