Destiny Rewritten..........
(c) Shilpa Sandesh
On the pages,
Of the book called Life,
Where a prolonged past lies,
With an abundance of miseries,
And extinct smiles,
I step onto the coliseum of contemporaneous;
As I begin to perform my song of sorrows,
From among the audience,
Audience, the guilty, the liable of my anguish,
A cheer distracts,
The hail that changed the lyrics of my song,
And from melancholy and woes,
Delirium ruled my vocal chords;
And soon I realized,
There you were,
The sole symbol of solace,
In the gaggle of the symbols of disharmony,
And I stood singing, smitten,
I knew,
Lines on my palm were being recast,
My destiny was being rewritten.........
