The Eternal Embrace....
(c) Shilpa Sandesh
As you smile,
Oh that beam....
I see a million meteors,
Descending from the vast azure;
As you laugh,
The celestial sphere flares up,
Like a star stepping,
In the red giant phase;
A drop of tear,
On the corner of your eyes,
Leaves the clouds clamour, the deafening thunders,
In the twilight sky;
And Oh that mischievous grin,
Like a flash flood,
Of wanton teasing,
Sends the waves of zeal,
In my restless veins;
And Oh, You catch my gaze,
And I pose innocent and naive,
And then we cackle and giggle,
Only to find ourselves,
In each others,
Calming Eternal embrace....
As you smile,
Oh that beam....
I see a million meteors,
Descending from the vast azure;
As you laugh,
The celestial sphere flares up,
Like a star stepping,
In the red giant phase;
A drop of tear,
On the corner of your eyes,
Leaves the clouds clamour, the deafening thunders,
In the twilight sky;
And Oh that mischievous grin,
Like a flash flood,
Of wanton teasing,
Sends the waves of zeal,
In my restless veins;
And Oh, You catch my gaze,
And I pose innocent and naive,
And then we cackle and giggle,
Only to find ourselves,
In each others,
Calming Eternal embrace....
