Would You Stay With Me Still?
(c) Shilpa Sandesh
Short-lived are these blossoming hair,
And this fresh and blooming skin,
There would be a day,
When wrinkles and tiredness,
To my frame, the time would bring;
Grey-haired I would be,
And I might be impaired,
May be I would be,
Unable to walk myself,
Without you being here;
I might loose some memories,
That my soul vowed to treasure,
I may be like a puppet,
With it's strings in the hands of fate,
It might make me fall,
It might raise me high,
Of the clock's wrath I am not sure;
But in any of these,
Plays of life Oh Love,
Bear would you my fate's share,
Or would you be tired of it all?
Please don't abandon me,
For I have loved you evermore,
Even if my mind suffers forgetfulness,
My soul and body would always be yours,
Be with me,
Don't leave me,
Be with me,
To stay forevermore,
So tell me will you,
Would you stay with me still?
Would you stay with me still!
