I Swear By The Moon........

I shall worship the Moon tonight,
A celestial bliss, undying bright,
As I would look,
On that luminescent sight,
A blink of the eyes,
And there, you would rise,
To see you tonight,
Is my praying heart's delight,
Where my soul's eyes would win,
In the material and spiritual fight;

 Like at the festival of Delos,
Chios fell for Acontius,
And then was the beatific pledge,
As Chios swore by the temple of Artemis,
To be forever Acontius',
So shall I swear by the Holy Moon,
Till this earth stops to rotate,
Till the seas are arid,
Till the snow clad mountains thaw,
Till the universe comes to an end,
I shall be yours my Wizard,
And when the creator would give birth,
To a new world,
We would be its Adam and Eve,
And so shall our love,
Be reborn, to be forever again..........
