The Pleading of Love........

To adore you,
Has been the most extravagant gift,
Bestowed upon me,
In life's ever blinding mist,
I walked upon the thorns,
And you guided my way,
Onto the path sheathed in flowers,
I have loved you,
Since the time immemorial,
To love you endlessly,
Since countless births and deaths,
We have sailed together, in the boat of devotion,
As we reach in the middle of the ocean,
I am scared of its depths,
Leave not my side,
Leave not my hand,
For I know not how to swim,
In this World of substantial whims,
And I plead you, from my heart's core,
Be mine forever,
For I am forever yours........
